FOR RELEASE: SUNDAY, MAY 27, 2012 When you look into the night sky at an object that is 100 light years away, you are essentially looking back in time because what you are seeing is how the object appeared 100 years ago. This same weird sense of time affects your life story. Mercury'…Read more. FOR RELEASE: SATURDAY, MAY 26, 2012 Generosity of spirit can be an intangible quality that people recognize on deeper levels, even if they would be hard-pressed to describe it in concrete terms. The Leo moon changes that, making something as invisible as love seem clear and obvious. …Read more. FOR RELEASE: FRIDAY, MAY 25, 2012 Mercury got a boost of zesty Gemini energy yesterday, which King Neptune, frankly, finds irritating. It could be that Neptune is just jealous of all that youthful vigor, or that Mercury has a tendency to talk "out of school." Either way, …Read more. FOR RELEASE: THURSDAY, MAY 24, 2012 Did things just get more interesting, or have they been interesting all along and we're only just now noticing it? These questions and more will seem relevant as Mercury slips into the quick, bright energy of Gemini, a brilliant placement for the …Read more.

The sun makes a grand entrance into Aquarius, encouraging unconventional behaviors and highlighting the wonderful diversity available on the planet. Invite your inner "freak" out to play. In the weeks to come there's a growing acceptance of eccentricity, both from the outside world and from the one who really matters — you.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). A worrisome deal wobbles away from you. This was one of life's lessons — a practice run that keeps you from making a mistake in the big game. You're glad for the experience. Onward.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You've had very positive thoughts about creating the love relationship of your dreams — but the negative ones have cancelled them out. The trick is to be consistent and exclusively upbeat. Try it!

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Sometimes the best way to decompress is to actually overload. Adding one more thing to your list will force you to prioritize and, possibly, drop at least five tasks that really weren't all that important in the first place.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Loved ones relate their neediness to you. If you had to think about it, you might decide this mushiness is just icky. And so it's probably better to take your brain out of the equation and let your heart do the work.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Once you've completed an action, you get busy with something else — a meaningless distraction, perhaps, so that you're not obsessing about what the world thinks of your last move.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Jan. 20). Growing in power and prosperity isn't always an easy process, but it's one you're willing to take on. You roll with both gradual and sudden changes through June, and quickly adapt. You're gloriously independent in March and could have a ball traveling alone. August brings a desired result. Leo and Sagittarius people are supportive partners. Your lucky numbers are 45, 2, 13, 24 and 36.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Loved ones seem to take pride in showing you their most annoying flaws — don't bite that hook! Incessant attention to a problem is the very thing that will make it grow. If it bugs you, get over it.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Work brings up the kind of drama that makes you want to roll your eyes. But you don't, because you're not that immature. Besides, you want to get paid. Tonight you can turn this into solid fits of laughter!

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Upgrades begin with a process of elimination. You discover what you want by getting rid of what you don't want.

Start with your closet, using it as a metaphor for your life!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You're strong on your own. Steer clear of committees and the kind of decision making that happens there. Group consensus will be too watered down for your taste.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You have all you need to get control of a family situation. It's 80 percent behavior and 20 percent smarts. But mostly, your strong desire to do so will help you put this less-than-optimal situation behind you for good.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Your obligations feel like invitations. That's how you know you're starting to design a life for yourself that is truly custom-fit to your proclivities and pleasures.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You're having so much fun in your own little thought bubble now. There are those who want you to explain yourself, but that might diminish your fun. Sometimes you're content to be misunderstood.

FORECAST 2007 — CAPRICORN: Steadfast Saturn supports you in your efforts to achieve something momentous this year. In March, your pet project is embraced by the one who can take it to the next level. LOVE: Healthy familial relationships are the cornerstone of your personal life. When you heal family ties in the next nine weeks, you pave the way for a richer love life. You'll reap the rewards of your own generosity in June. August is especially lighthearted and flirtatious, and you could even become infatuated with someone you've known forever. CAREER. Instead of being your own worst critic, why not reverse that energy in the new year and become your own biggest fan? You need advocates during challenging March and September. A fantastic team pushes you to new heights. ADVENTURE: It's the unexpected call to duty in July that sets you off on a whirly path — sometimes bizarre, but fresh and invigorating for your creative self. FINANCE: You can't be bothered with trifling and petty matters if you're going to play in the big leagues. Keep your focus on the top in April — there's much to distract you if you let it. A payoff in October has you accepting applause and accolades, as well as cash.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Smart and savvy talk-show host/comedian Bill Maher has little fear of controversy. In fact, he eats it for dinner every Friday night on his politically skewed HBO chat fest, "Real Time with Bill Maher." In his natal chart, Maher has a Taurus moon (suggesting an original comic voice) and Jupiter (luck) in the sign of show business, Leo. In accordance with his stars, Maher has elevated himself from just another act on the comedy-club circuit to a force in political news reporting.
