January brings the first day of the calendar year. Then the Chinese New Year, which is lunar based and occurs sometime in late January to mid-February, represents a second chance at a fresh start. If you'd like a third try, tomorrow begins a new cycle, as the sun will enter the first sign of the zodiac. Some will party like it's New Year's Eve.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You'll be happier and freer if you try not to impute a meaning and motive into the behaviors of others. Observe the way they are from a detached place, without feeling that you must figure them out.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Facing a challenge head-on is sometimes easier than avoiding it. That is the case here. You need to turn around and look this thing in the eye so you can see that it's not nearly as big a monster as you're making it out to be.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You will find that people who are overly tense repel you. They may even scare you a bit. It's a good lesson. Relaxed people are attractive people. The things you do to put yourself in a relaxed state will be worthwhile.
