Artist Judy Chicago spent years on a work of art involving a dinner table at which historical wild women had place settings on a grand table. Indian goddess Kali, Greek poetess Sappho, Sojourner Truth, Emily Dickinson, Georgia O'Keefe — 39 wild women in all. It's one of the most famous pieces of feminist art. Judy is a Cancer sun sign, so she's intimately linked with the women of history (most Cancers spend a good amount of time milling around in their personal past, and cultural and family legacy to claim their true power). Part of Chicago's inspiration was Da Vinci's The Last Supper. Where were the women, she asked? She found their absence exceptionally odd, since women are social creatures who love to gab, host parties and eat! Were powerful historic women made invisible?
