FOR RELEASE: SUNDAY, MAY 27, 2012 When you look into the night sky at an object that is 100 light years away, you are essentially looking back in time because what you are seeing is how the object appeared 100 years ago. This same weird sense of time affects your life story. Mercury'…Read more. FOR RELEASE: SATURDAY, MAY 26, 2012 Generosity of spirit can be an intangible quality that people recognize on deeper levels, even if they would be hard-pressed to describe it in concrete terms. The Leo moon changes that, making something as invisible as love seem clear and obvious. …Read more. FOR RELEASE: FRIDAY, MAY 25, 2012 Mercury got a boost of zesty Gemini energy yesterday, which King Neptune, frankly, finds irritating. It could be that Neptune is just jealous of all that youthful vigor, or that Mercury has a tendency to talk "out of school." Either way, …Read more. FOR RELEASE: THURSDAY, MAY 24, 2012 Did things just get more interesting, or have they been interesting all along and we're only just now noticing it? Horoscopes by Holiday for April 10

The moon is in wise Pisces, as are Jupiter and Uranus. If you have artistic leanings, practice often this weekend and you could reach magical heights. If you don't believe you are creative, think again. Everyone is creative. There's not a task around that can't be turned into an art form if given the proper level of playful, imaginative attention.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Most people want to do a good job, though they may not realize what needs to be done in order to achieve this. You'll be a teacher now, instructing best with the example of your own work ethic and attitude.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You require a certain level of attention, and it's unwise to go for long stretches without giving it to yourself. Stop putting it off. Take care of yourself now, and you'll be doing a service to others in the process.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Long before you were sitting where you are, you were somewhere else, imagining life and what you would feel like when you were finally sitting where you are. So, what's the verdict?

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Love becomes less complicated just as soon as you face relationship issues head-on. Express yourself and listen to the other person. You will likely realize that the things you thought were problems are not that big of a deal.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Bring a little extra something to the party. You'll feel good about yourself when you do. And you'll be reinforcing your beliefs about abundance. You have so much, and there is always more than enough to share.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Get serious about finishing a project. The consequences for not finishing are enough to startle you into high-speed action. And a degree of peer pressure helps, too.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You probably can't put your finger on it, but you know that a change has occurred in a relationship. Act on the feeling, even if you don't know where it came from. Things don't have to be tangible to be real.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You'll be tempted to believe you're stuck. But you're not. When you sit down and think about it, you know plenty of people who can help push this project along. You just need to pick up the phone to start the ball rolling.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). The dynamics have shifted, and you'll be making up new rules. But don't be too quick to state them out loud. Give yourself time to mentally process new information and see how it all plays out.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). It may seem to you that the outside world can read your innermost thoughts, as uncanny coincidences fall into place.

But the truth is that you are more transparent than you realize these days.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You'll give more than a passing thought to someone you admire or even idolize. Why is it that this person has captivated you so? You want to embody a quality that this person has, and in time you will.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You would give all you have without batting an eye. However, you'll be dealing with proud people who don't want this kind of generosity. Observe the boundaries. If a gift is unwelcome, it defeats the purpose of giving.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (April 10). The next three months are rich with mystery and intrigue. You have an open mind about social relations and will be accepted into circles that differ from the ones you've known. There will be a financial infusion in July, perhaps as a result of a sale. You'll receive support for a philanthropic effort in October. Scorpio and Capricorn people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 20, 1, 44, 39 and 18.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "Why is Neptune said to cause confusion in our daily lives?"

You may not know this, but Neptune was the first planet to be discovered by mathematical calculation, rather than by empirical observation through a telescope or the naked eye. Scientists in the 1800s couldn't figure out why that area of deep space seemed to wobble when nothing appeared to be there. Of course, it turned out they were witnessing the gravitational pull of an icy giant billions of miles away. The planet's debut also happened to coincide with the discovery of medical anesthesia and hypnosis, so from the very beginning, Neptune has had an air of inscrutability about it. But it's equally known for its spirituality and artistic achievement. I tend to think of Neptune as a druggie artistic genius: Everything he touches is emotionally powerful and undeniably intense, but nobody has a clue as to what the dude is really saying. Neptune represents a dreamy sort of idealism. Whatever spiritual longings you're feeling inside, they're projected onto Neptune's blank canvas. To one person's eye, that blue splotch may be just a splotch, but to another, it's a spiritually transcendent piece of art.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Whether she's playing Blair Waldorf, the Queen Bee of Upper East Side Manhattan in the television series "Gossip Girl" or belting out hits with the rock band Cobra Starship, Leighton Meester leads with the intensity of her sun and moon in fiery Aries. Venus in Taurus reveals a love of luxury. Natal Mercury and Jupiter in Pisces shows soulfulness and a strong talent for empathy and intuition.
