This same weird sense of time affects your life story. Mercury'…Read more. FOR RELEASE: SATURDAY, MAY 26, 2012 Generosity of spirit can be an intangible quality that people recognize on deeper levels, even if they would be hard-pressed to describe it in concrete terms. FOR RELEASE: FRIDAY, MAY 25, 2012 Mercury got a boost of zesty Gemini energy yesterday, which King Neptune, frankly, finds irritating. Earlier this week, Uranus crossed over the Pisces boundary into the passionate fire sign of Aries. Something new is coming, and we're all a little on edge as we anticipate the arrival. The waning moon shifts from Sagittarius into the serious station of Capricorn, urging productivity. It's like the moon is saying, "Don't just stand there. Do something."

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Boredom is an unacceptable state, whether you are the one who is bored or the one who is doing the boring. If you feel the old ennui creeping in, engage others and be encouraging and enthusiastic.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You don't have to be too careful about what you say. The way you play off of others may sometimes cause friction — it's good this way. Ultimately, the rub produces energy and warmth.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Those you come into contact with want to be amused and delighted. You will deliver. Your natural boldness makes it easy for you to do so. You won't mind when the eyes are on you — you'll dance.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Your world collides with that of a friend or boss. It may behoove you to fit in with a certain social group that does not at first appear to be your cup of tea. Make the effort.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). There have been disappointments — that part is inarguable. But you'll move beyond disenchantment and into a state of inspiration. A change of environment will help. You'll see yourself differently against the new backdrop.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You'll be around those with whom you have a great deal in common. You'll agree with others without echoing them — because who needs a duplicating drone? You'll say the same thing, but the way you say it will be different.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Because you're so well informed, you'll hold court at a dinner or conference table. Do be a gracious conversationalist, as it will be more fun for you when the conversation twists and turns as it receives a variety of input.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You're a human being, not a role. That's what loved ones adore about you. In fact, they come to depend on your authenticity. You react in a genuine way to what's going on instead of merely doing what is expected of you.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You may not start out in a great mood, but you'll get there eventually. Exercise helps. Once you get your breath going, you'll have terrific energy. You'll get people focused and invite them to participate in your world.

CAPRICORN (Dec.

22-Jan. 19). Confucius said that a small mind is full of anxiety. The good news is that anxiousness can be relieved by opening and expanding your thought process to include possibilities other than the ones that are readily available.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). There is something admirable about the one who puts a full heart into futile exercises. You will either be such a person or observe such a person today and be moved by the experience.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Making initial contact with someone can be challenging. You might find that you have so much to say that you don't know where to begin. But soon enough you'll work everything out and get into a groove.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (May 29). You'll get through the frustrations of yesteryear and reach a new level of ease in life. You know how to relate to your loved ones in order get them to do what you want. Developments in your family will change the dynamic. A windfall in September will allow you to do something you've wanted to do for years. Sagittarius and Aquarius people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 20, 4, 17, 30 and 16.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "What is 'The Finger of God' in astrology?"

The Finger of God is a major planetary configuration in which three planets form an acute isosceles triangle in your birth chart. None of these planets shares a common modality, element or gender — they're all completely incompatible with each other. The Finger of God is also known as The Yod, named after the Hebrew word for the ritual pointing device used when reading sacred text from the Torah. On your birth chart, this narrow isosceles triangle looks like the hand of a sundial pointing to very specific coordinates. This is, in fact, the apex of the triangle, and to be a true astrological Yod, the planet forming the apex must be the fastest-moving of the three planets. So, if you've got a Yod composed of Neptune, Venus and Mercury, the apex would be Mercury. The Finger of God points to where you have an emotional blockage to overcome. Let's say yours is pointing to Mercury in your second house. You may have a problem acknowledging your own self-worth. This configuration requires you to be vigilant as you combat your tendency to underappreciate yourself. Affirm your worthiness continually throughout each day.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Gemini rocker Melissa Etheridge has brought awareness and funding to cancer research with her courageous and victorious battle with breast cancer. Etheridge's communication planet, Mercury, is in the sign of mothers, Cancer. Her love planet, Venus, is in the sign of warriors — Aries. Mars and Uranus in Leo indicate a natural ease in the spotlight.

Well, I guess we are going to get into psychology now. Lets see yes I get bored when I go over things a hundred times
and I do get tired of personalities which I keep to myself but that happens. You do the same I am sure. About self worth, We did several studies on that subject with our adopted children when they talked about their relatives Since I was adopted some of my parents wanted me to check out the possibility that their children had experienced some problems with family members. Some relatives had made remarks about looks or behavior to the children. Child Guidance worked with us to help the children sort this out. We had good times helping children with their friends solve social problems. I found out that in the last ten years that my husband worried about my adoption when he married me. I think this happened with children adopted during the 20's on. I worried when I carried the children. There was an Aunt that made me feel like I was being watched to see how I would turn out. After I married I even had thoughts myself of "did I marry beneath me" So we all have these thoughts. I think I carry myself well to be 83. I do need a vacation when I stay with a grandchild until he is 22 months. I am having a little burn out which is normal for seven days a week and two years. L never ask me to prove myself. She wanted me to make the marriage work as my family did. Now I have the same problem with Tanner who is adopted. I will be able to help him feel loved. I have never found my family and once you have children you don't feel the need. That drives one to want a family wouldn't you say! Well I was not going to keep this going for I have dropped the project but loved talking with you. You are a fun girl...wish I knew more about you. I don't ever get too personal with people. They can tell me things but I never ask them personal questions. nite nite

I have never understood all that you are saying. Some guesswork is in the picture. Are you talking about a couple or a nursery school. Should you want to ask someone who has seen it all for many years you would have to ask a goat.

Kinda didn't expect to hear more. Honestly, I didn't really know, still don't know, what you meant most of the time. I think I know what the project was, but didn't know how I fit in (?). I don't know who Tanner is, or what child development meant either, or even really Leona. I think I get Suzanne and I thought that's what you meant by adoption and child development for me. I was surprised, confused and a little offended that you thought I would be interested in filling her shoes, like pay-for-service, use somebody. It's why I kept saying no,no.I used to judge the Suzannes of the world, but these days I feel I do not know the measure of the world and am not fit to judge the contents of other's hearts or souls. There but for the grace of God go I, right? I guess by now you know what I wanted and originally thought you wanted. Yes couple. I thought maybe at 83 you were tired of raising children and were lonely for adult company, for someone who was there for what you are and not what you can give. How arrogant of me to assume you don't have such people. I'm sorry if I frustrated, confused and/or insulted you. I resumed my letters and sub teaching because I feel it is safe now for me and for your family., but mostly because I have things to say, teach and learn. The mean things I said were not true, just hurt feelings. I guess I wanted to hurt back and soon was sorry, which is why I hit delete. I sub teach because I am sick, old and tired. I worked a day job, a night job and a volunteer job for years and years while going to under and grad school. I'm burned out now and facing many forms of mortality has dulled my ambition, but not my wits or my desire to create or contribute to the world. I just don't have the burn or the hunger for climbing anymore. I am not lazy but I am limited. The best part of being an old lady with death in her pocket is being, like Holiday said, free to be authentic, to do what one does because it is true, not to please others, to not have to hold back or follow convention. It's liberating. But as an old lady, I guess you know that, too. You're right; I am a fun and free gal. Despite my soft round sorrow and earnest abundance, I have a wicked sense of humor and can laugh at myself and this joke of a world. If I wasn't playful and adventurous, you never would have noticed me or come this far. So, if you ever want (more) adult friends in your life or just want to talk or play, let me know. I don't know from goats, but at least I ain't a sheep. I will say a prayer for your health and your family. If you see some gold or pearls or diamonds (or small change!) feel free to use it, I can't take it with me. sweet dreams.
