Consider that the blocks to good fortune that seem to come from outside forces are often self-imposed. The afternoon Sagittarius moon restores the flow of prosperity.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Cherish the one who brings affection, warmth and laughter into your life. If this person can also afford you a measure of stability, you've got it made! You deserve all kinds of contributions, since that's what you give.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Your daily habits keep you in an enjoyable rhythm. One of your activities will be prevented or interrupted by an unexpected twist in the plot. You'll adapt quickly and retain your excellent mood.

FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD: Mercury has born the brunt of the blame during the past few weeks, as he's been transiting backward in Capricorn since Dec. 26. As the old saying goes, "Don't shoot the messenger." But is this news-bearer of the gods at all responsible for the annoying communication snafus and system glitches? If so, the plucky mischief-maker should get some of the credit for this week's turnaround. The direct motion begins on Friday, and feelings of stability increase thereafter. It becomes obvious what we must do in order to get on track. And the best part is that once the short list is made, the actual work is simple, straightforward and even pleasurable. Pluto is in Capricorn, as well, and although Mercury isn't exactly conjunct with the dwarf planet, these two buddy up close enough to put some do-or-die emphasis on our work. Furthermore, with all of the Capricorn energy floating around, there's an intense current of responsibility, ownership and ambition in the air. Many are struck with a strong sense of their own destiny, and that compels them to work hard to make things happen. No one wants to look back and say, "If only I had tried a little harder..."
