In the past few weeks, there have been many opportunities to reach out and help someone, especially those who cannot help themselves. Also, new friends and associations have entered the scene. This is the last full day of the Aquarius sun this year, and it's a time to celebrate the good that's come from our heartfelt efforts.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You'll be busy with the kind of job you do exceptionally well. You seem to accomplish results with hardly any effort at all, while others exert themselves and get results that are dim in comparison.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). It might help to learn how people just like you learn how to use a certain kind of software or work a new machine. Each individual has peculiarities. Be patient, and understand that trial and error is a natural process.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Making assumptions got you into trouble in the past. You will be careful not to take a stance until all of the facts are in. What you know, you know for sure.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Your ability to read people will save you time and energy. Beware: If someone has to tell you how good they are at something, it usually means they're not so good at it.

Would you ever go to a doctor and say, "Here I am — now tell me what's wrong with me"? Unless you had been in an accident and had an obvious wound, a doctor would usually need more information. People expect funny things from astrologers. I look at astrology as a tool for learning about ourselves and handling our lives. I do not believe that you are defined or controlled by the planets. And no, I do not have a supernatural gift that would allow me to know everything about a person as soon as I meet them. (That would be cool, though, huh?) What I do have is the willingness to dialogue with people about whatever is on their mind to see if we can come up with solutions together.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Paris Hilton celebrates a landmark birthday. She has much to show for her 30 years. Her professional status is highly hyphenated: actress/model/fashion designer/singer/author and more. This Aquarius celebutante is rarely praised for her philanthropy, but she should be. Like many Aquarians, she is compelled to give back, and she has a long list of charities she regularly supports.
