FOR RELEASE: SUNDAY, MAY 27, 2012
When you look into the night sky at an object that is 100 light years away, you are essentially looking back in time because what you are seeing is how the object appeared 100 years ago. This same weird sense of time affects your life story. Mercury'…Read more.
FOR RELEASE: SATURDAY, MAY 26, 2012
Generosity of spirit can be an intangible quality that people recognize on deeper levels, even if they would be hard-pressed to describe it in concrete terms. The Leo moon changes that, making something as invisible as love seem clear and obvious. …Read more.
FOR RELEASE: FRIDAY, MAY 25, 2012
Mercury got a boost of zesty Gemini energy yesterday, which King Neptune, frankly, finds irritating. It could be that Neptune is just jealous of all that youthful vigor, or that Mercury has a tendency to talk "out of school." Either way, …Read more.
FOR RELEASE: THURSDAY, MAY 24, 2012
Did things just get more interesting, or have they been interesting all along and we're only just now noticing it? These questions and more will seem relevant as Mercury slips into the quick, bright energy of Gemini, a brilliant placement for the …Read more.

FOR RELEASE: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2011The moon is void of course in Pisces. The Pisces moon is a rather ethereal aspect already, and the lackadaisical conviction implied by its void-of-course status only adds to the spacey feeling of the day. It's a time to let your mind wander. If you can't seem to make real-life connections come together, try to connect with people in your dreams. ARIES (March 21-April 19). At first, you will have a rather straightforward reason for getting to know someone. The more you learn, however, the less the initial purpose seems to matter. You will be, quite simply, curious to find out more. TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You take your responsibilities as an earthling seriously. You will show the love and respect you feel for nature by admiring and caring for the various life forms in your environment. GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You would normally be inclined to make a prediction as to what you might accomplish and what will likely unfold as a result. Not now. You lead with a sense of wonder. Who knows where the day will flow? Only time. CANCER (June 22-July 22). The dimensions above you seem to invite you to share their lightness of being to whatever degree possible on this earthly plane. You certainly feel freer, as though life is suddenly fresh. LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You approach others with your free-flowing conversation. You also have a terrific sense of when to engage and with whom. Knowing when to retreat will be equally useful. VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You realize how futile and silly it is to expect people to think and behave just like you do. Your loved ones adore you, in part because they sense that you truly want them to live fully, though not in any particular way. LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You see what you create as a part of yourself and therefore bestow a special kind of beauty in all of your work. When you meet with interference, you see it as a fortuitous influence. SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Appointments and errands are in store, all in preparation for an upcoming event. While getting everything in order, your mind is abuzz with anticipation. This is going to be fun! SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You'll do your own thing, and you won't care whether anyone notices. You're making your own rules now, at least socially speaking. And you'll cause some excitement in the process. CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Everyone changes. You cannot predict exactly how, either. To love someone truly and completely means to love him or her through the inevitable changes of life.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Whatever you concentrate on evolves quickly, taking up greater amounts of space and energy. It's like you can grow things with the power of your thinking. So definitely concentrate on things you actually want to grow. PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You can feel someone psychically tugging at you. This person probably just wants to be closer to you, or perhaps he or she needs something so intangible from you that they don't even know what it is. TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Oct. 9). You've dared to dream before, but this year there's something even stronger about the visions you conjure for yourself. You have every intention of bringing them to reality, and you most certainly will. A change in your work lends greater balance to your life. New family additions happen in April. Capricorn and Aquarius people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 2, 18, 24, 36 and 21. FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD: In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue. It was in this week of that year that he made the "discovery" that would alter the course of world history. It was, in reality, nothing new. As Oscar Wilde reported, "Of course America had often been discovered before Columbus, but it had always been hushed up." It is interesting to note that on Oct. 12, 1492, the sun was the only planet in the congenial, balanced and fair sign of Libra. The moon was in Cancer, representing the concept of "home" — a concept that would, after that fateful day, be forever altered for Native Americans and explorers alike. Neptune, the planet of dreams, was in Sagittarius — the realm of travel, adventure, exploration and new worlds. In the current year, this week brings the full moon in Aries on Tuesday. It's the warrior moon, so if there is anything you want to fight for, make your move on Monday. Mercury and Neptune will be in a most auspicious arrangement at that time, and a conjunction between Mercury and Venus will begin then, too, lending strength to your convictions. At the end of the week, Mercury enters quiet Scorpio marking the beginnings of a lovely mystery. CELEBRITY PROFILES: Every year on October 9, fans gather at Strawberry Fields memorial in New York's Central Park to celebrate and mourn the life and art of John Lennon. The iconic musician and poet was born under the intelligent, altruistic Aquarius moon. Natal Mercury in Scorpio indicates a piercing wit and a talent for creating mystery. Venus and Neptune in detailed Virgo represents a tireless passion for his life's work.
