The waxing Sagittarius moon builds anticipation and continues to do so until the release of Tuesday's full Capricorn moon. There are times when expectation ruins the fun of what actually occurs, but not today. FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD: It was only a few hundred years ago that the majority of Europeans believed the world was flat. One wonders what commonly held beliefs today will be seen as a joke to future generations. The only sure thing is that just when you think you know all you need to know about the world, something happens to burst the bubble. The moon in Sagittarius at the top of the week has a way of opening our minds to accept ideas that only a few days ago would have been dismissed as ludicrous.

As we head toward the full moon in Capricorn on Tuesday, there will be emerging themes of power and authority, which aren't the same thing. A person can be extremely powerful and yet still without jurisdiction to operate in a certain situation. The full moon spells this out with a living example. If you would like to increase your personal power, it may help you to realize that true power can't be granted to you; it has to be seized.
