FOR RELEASE: SUNDAY, MAY 27, 2012 When you look into the night sky at an object that is 100 light years away, you are essentially looking back in time because what you are seeing is how the object appeared 100 years ago. This same weird sense of time affects your life story. Mercury'…Read more. FOR RELEASE: SATURDAY, MAY 26, 2012 Generosity of spirit can be an intangible quality that people recognize on deeper levels, even if they would be hard-pressed to describe it in concrete terms. The Leo moon changes that, making something as invisible as love seem clear and obvious. …Read more. FOR RELEASE: FRIDAY, MAY 25, 2012 Mercury got a boost of zesty Gemini energy yesterday, which King Neptune, frankly, finds irritating. It could be that Neptune is just jealous of all that youthful vigor, or that Mercury has a tendency to talk "out of school." Either way, …Read more. FOR RELEASE: THURSDAY, MAY 24, 2012 Did things just get more interesting, or have they been interesting all along and we're only just now noticing it? These questions and more will seem relevant as Mercury slips into the quick, bright energy of Gemini, a brilliant placement for the …Read more.

Jupiter is a jovial uncle in the sky — just the kind of rich, generous and fun uncle you're glad to have in the family. As he rolls on over to the Aries section of the heavens, you may get the sneaking suspicion that someone powerful has your back. There's a VIP in the wings, pulling for you with such fervor that it's clear you really can't lose.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You are reluctant to come clean about a recent episode where you were perhaps not at your best. Being completely truthful is of paramount importance in all relationships — even more so in your intimate ones.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Someone has taken something of yours without asking. You're annoyed. The best thing to do is to address it. There's a good chance that this was entirely unintentional, but the other person still needs to apologize.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). One of the machines that's supposed to make your life easier is acting up. You could call someone to fix it, but it might be worth looking into it yourself. It's been a while since you opened your toolbox.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). As Gandhi said, there is more to life than increasing its speed. You second these words, as at the moment you feel like you're running yourself too fast. A hot bath will do wonders to slow you down.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). While it may be difficult for you to communicate using your normal methods, other ways will open up. You'll get your message across with new clarity and depth. People will really "get" you now.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Like a cold wind that flushes bad air from the valley, you will receive some news that momentarily chills you. But you'll soon warm up to the idea. In the big picture, you'll be glad you knew about this.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). The law of diminishing returns will apply to your current situation. Chances are that you will get most of the benefit out of a deal or relationship right off the bat. So if that part isn't sweet for you, there's no reason to go further.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You are both deep and wise. Instead of listening to the words people are saying, you listen to the overall meaning of what's being said. This kind of hearing will save you time and money.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You do not belong in the middle. Whether it's a friend's feud or a rating scale, you simply shouldn't be sandwiched inside all those other factors. You're better off when you choose a side or go to extremes.

CAPRICORN (Dec.

22-Jan. 19). Creativity is brewing, though you can't rush this. Your patience and openness will be a welcome path for the flow of imaginative solutions and wonderful productivity that is about to spring forth.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). There are many layers to the situations you are involved in now. That's why it's not advisable to take people at face value. When you look beyond the surface, deeper meanings will come across.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Getting help from those who want to give it feels wonderful. Accepting anything that's given grudgingly, however, will feel horrible and is not advised. Gravitate to those who give easily and freely.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (June 5). You understand your heart and live in a way that fulfills you. In the process, and without meaning to, you'll impress others. July brings a promotion. In September, you will be willing to sacrifice for a relationship, and something truly beautiful will come out of your selflessness. Family celebrates with you in November. Sagittarius and Capricorn people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 40, 1, 21, 50 and 16.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "Is there a card in the typical tarot deck that represents the planet Earth?"

The very last of the major arcana cards is The World, which symbolizes Gaia, Mother Earth and all her creatures. The World depicts a woman holding a womb-shaped mirror. This card reminds us that our world is a reflection of how we see ourselves. It represents a culmination of hard work — the triumph and sense of completion that you get when you see your life has turned out exactly as you envisioned it. When this happens, it's as if we're about to be reborn into a new life full of creative possibility. Sometimes, however, we don't appreciate what we have. The World card in reverse (upside down) reminds us that caring for the Earth is not something we can take for granted. If we continue to pollute our oceans, air and soil, we pollute our own bodies and our minds. The brain is the organ most susceptible to toxic chemicals, after all. To sustain life on this planet, we first need to think big. If we let our Great Mother die, it would truly be a failure of vision on the part of humanity.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Underwear model turned media mogul Mark Wahlberg is not only an Academy Award-nominated actor, but he's the executive producer of the popular television series "Entourage" and "How To Make It in America." Wahlberg has his natal sun in sociable Gemini and his Mercury, Venus and Saturn in hard-working Taurus. His moon and lucky Jupiter are stationed in intensely intuitive and passionate Scorpio.
