FOR RELEASE: SUNDAY, MAY 27, 2012 When you look into the night sky at an object that is 100 light years away, you are essentially looking back in time because what you are seeing is how the object appeared 100 years ago. This same weird sense of time affects your life story. Mercury'…Read more. FOR RELEASE: SATURDAY, MAY 26, 2012 Generosity of spirit can be an intangible quality that people recognize on deeper levels, even if they would be hard-pressed to describe it in concrete terms. The Leo moon changes that, making something as invisible as love seem clear and obvious. …Read more. FOR RELEASE: FRIDAY, MAY 25, 2012 Mercury got a boost of zesty Gemini energy yesterday, which King Neptune, frankly, finds irritating. It could be that Neptune is just jealous of all that youthful vigor, or that Mercury has a tendency to talk "out of school." Either way, …Read more. FOR RELEASE: THURSDAY, MAY 24, 2012 Did things just get more interesting, or have they been interesting all along and we're only just now noticing it? Mercury and Saturn are lining up to crack down on our language. How we talk, the words we use and the sentiment behind them will be something to analyze. The negative things we say about ourselves and others, however casual, could add up to big problems for us, and the positive things we say could gradually improve our lives.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You will find it easy to get down to work and concentrate, wasting no time with personal concerns or communications. You will give yourself over to the needs of the group.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Business matters arise. Someone is pretending to be bigger than he or she really is. Better to get involved with overly ambitious people than with those who don't have any ambition at all.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Watch how people express their emotions. When you can read subtle, delicate expressions of feeling, it means you also can cultivate the ability to influence others on a very deep level.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). The process of figuring out what to do next isn't always a reasonable one, nor is it tidy. While sorting through a big mess, you'll find the answers you're looking for.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). The ones who do well in business know how to tolerate the ups and downs. It won't always go smoothly, and you have to be able to sustain a certain degree of loss. Practice endurance, and in the end you'll succeed. Keep going.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You enjoy togetherness, but you don't want to be smothered by it. Today you feel the need for more space, and your social cues will suggest that others don't engage you more than necessary.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Relationships require some effort. But today you'll feel inclined to work harder than is necessary. When things come up, you'll talk it out. Until then, don't worry about it.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You will take back your power by doing a job yourself. Try to minimize the amount of emotion you expend on this. Your attitude of ease and competence will radiate to the world and come back to you in the form of good luck.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You might feel like being alone, and yet this is not possible with the path you've chosen today. The more you wish to take on, the greater the number of people who will have to be involved.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Sometimes you just don't know what you're feeling until you search for it. Looking into a mirror and asking yourself what's going on inside you will help you claim your emotions once more.

AQUARIUS (Jan.

20-Feb. 18). You know just what to say to keep your audience tuned in and happy. This quality will take you far. You'll pay attention and learn an even greater array of effectively pleasing phrases.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Those you deal with now may not "get" you, but they honor you with respect and pay what you're due. It's not so bad, really. Later, you'll get the full star treatment.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Oct. 4). You'll take a leap and share an entirely new part of yourself with the world. A deep personal connection is featured this month. November brings travel and a home investment. In December, you'll shine within a political framework. You'll figure out how to turn this into financial success in the new year. Aquarius and Gemini people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 50, 36, 41, 28 and 19.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I think I might have a bit of the jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none syndrome. I am an artistic person, and I'm not sure how to best direct my creativity. I like to write poems, songs and stories, play instruments, make costumes, draw, paint, act, do comedy, design rooms, create hairstyles, make paper crafts — this list could go on forever. I don't make money with any of these things, and many of them cost money to do. I have a typing job that I don't totally hate. Will I find work that highlights my talents? And how will I know which one to pursue?" — Confused Libra

Libra is the sign of art, and there are many wonderful artists born under the sign of the scales. With natural grace, you can balance this variety of talents, so you needn't choose one. Direct yourself toward an endeavor that will use many of your talents for one purpose — for instance, putting on a play or creating movies. It is important that you set artistic goals for yourself and don't allow yourself to quit until you've accomplished them. A good example of a goal: I will create three funny videos by Jan. 1, 2011, and share them with my friends. As you commit to your goals, new avenues of revenue will open to you.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Before anyone had ever dreamed of "Twilight," there was Anne Rice's "Interview with the Vampire," the first novel of Rice's "Vampire Chronicles." Rice is among the most widely read authors in modern history, having sold more than 100 million books. This literary Libra has both Mercury (communication) and Venus (love) in Scorpio, the sign of mystery, intrigue, transformation, death and rebirth.

It is nice to not be in a hurry and enjoy the October month now. I may miss the 31st here which is the most fun time of the year. They take two blocks of this little village and decorate with lights. All dresses up and play for a day and the night. The babies don't even get frightened . Tanner will be one day surgery next Monday and he is well the next day. I think they take him in a wagon to the surgery room. We planned to go to Las Vegas for two days but we can do that next year. I hope you have fun parties on the 31st. In nursery school we play all day but no masks. Masks frighten little children until they spend all day in their scary dress then they are ready for anything. Last year at one Tanner went through the crowd as a lion with a long tail and had fun! This is the only Holiday enjoyed by all. P was a witch and I a Madam with a big Hats. I am looking forward to the time to spend on the project and touching base with my old old school.I don't expect anything but to solve a problem with housing and taking my annual tests. I hope I am well and just a little older for I missed a year. I don't want to feel hurried and uncomfortable but to enjoy the fall and get some delicious pecans from Texas and eat the best TexMex food in the world. Austin is a college town and I married and left it for a while but was so glad to return. We moved there so the boys could play ball and go to school. I was the little sister and they were so good to me.We had a lot of good times and five minuter of fame before we were all grown. We lived on the Campus. I would love to see Tanner go there where is mother got her first degree. Well I am excited to be visited back again with all the good music. You must visit sometime with South by Southwest and hear all the bands. Leona had a house close to the Park where all the Bands played. I am going to see her house for the first time. It is yellow stucco and Med. with tall skinny trees. I will not have my computer but will send you word by way the crow flies if I can. Leona made me a part of her experience and I would like to do the same for you. I could use a house. H is living in the old school which is not suited for family living or visiting. I still love the place. I can look around and see the children playing and having lunch with a lunch box. I have happy memories of fun times year around...Paintings hanging on the fence to dry and music outside like Tanner listens to every day. The lady sold me the house if I let children play and have fun and I did!
