FOR RELEASE: SUNDAY, MAY 27, 2012 When you look into the night sky at an object that is 100 light years away, you are essentially looking back in time because what you are seeing is how the object appeared 100 years ago. This same weird sense of time affects your life story. Mercury'…Read more. FOR RELEASE: SATURDAY, MAY 26, 2012 Generosity of spirit can be an intangible quality that people recognize on deeper levels, even if they would be hard-pressed to describe it in concrete terms. The Leo moon changes that, making something as invisible as love seem clear and obvious. …Read more. FOR RELEASE: FRIDAY, MAY 25, 2012 Mercury got a boost of zesty Gemini energy yesterday, which King Neptune, frankly, finds irritating. It could be that Neptune is just jealous of all that youthful vigor, or that Mercury has a tendency to talk "out of school." Either way, …Read more. FOR RELEASE: THURSDAY, MAY 24, 2012 Did things just get more interesting, or have they been interesting all along and we're only just now noticing it? The new moon in Taurus is a sensory reset that helps us see the beauty and integrity in everything around us. Financial benefits go hand in hand with the Taurus new moon. Old debts will be wiped clean. Deals that are signed today will be free of old baggage and will have the best chance of blossoming into mutually satisfying results.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You will be dealing with those who have trouble following the rules. You won't have to go overboard with enforcing the law, though. You'll get results with your sly cunning.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Whether you are in foreign territory or around your own family, the same warning applies: Watch what you say. The wrong words can put you on the outside and fast. The right words can bring you into someone's heart.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). However much you'd like to take this day as it comes, you have already agreed to show up in certain places at particular times to produce specific results. Honoring those agreements will bring tremendous good fortune.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Balance can be overrated, especially when you so naturally gravitate toward one extreme. For now, don't worry about being well rounded. Do what you do, and do it better than anyone else.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Go "old school." Doing things the way your grandparents would have done them will be lucky for you. It may be the oldest trick in the book, but it's still effective. Otherwise, it wouldn't have lasted this long.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You'll improve your reality through imaginative, innovative thinking. You'll have to temporarily turn off your self-censorship to let this creativity emerge.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You know there's something you can do that is likely to make you a lot of money in the future, but you've yet to find the exact way to make this skill viable. Today brings a breakthrough.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Being vague and noncommittal may save you down the road when you change your mind. Avoid saying "definitely," because it could soon turn into a "maybe" or an "indefinitely."

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Reconcile the past. If you could go back in a time machine, maybe you would do a few things differently, but then you wouldn't be the awesome person you are right now.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Science and religion used to go hand in hand.

Now the two subjects seem to be in a perpetual rift. Your best bet is to avoid both topics today. Innocuous pleasantries will build rapport.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Friends who have been scammed or wronged in other ways will tell you of their woes. Listen to the warnings, take precautions and then resume thinking in your usual positive way.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). What is considered "good" now was not always so. You and your parents will not completely agree on a moral stance. Maybe it is your job to disagree, as every generation has a right to define its own era.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (May 2). Good fortune surrounds you because you are open to new ideas, methods and information. You stay busy through May. June brings a leisurely adventure. There's intrigue and spice in your social circle in July. August broadens your professional vision. In the fall, you'll attract people who can help you make money. Pisces and Sagittarius people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 30, 21, 5, 12 and 26.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I want to do something very special for my Taurus friend's birthday. She has been a rock of support to me this year. I've had to lean on her many times. I've asked for favors in the spur of the moment and even called on her late in the night, and she has always been there for me, to watch my children or hold my hand at the doctor or lend me an ingredient I forgot to pick up at the store, like eggs or garlic salt. What should I get her?"

Does she love purses? Many Taurus women do, especially status bags that clearly show top brand names. Taurus also appreciates jewelry, but it has to be real. She won't be as excited by cool costume jewelry or fun, trendy pieces. She likes precious metal and real stones. Other directions you could go are either cooking or dining. This Venus-ruled sign has refined taste buds and appreciates quality food, beautifully presented. Taking her out to a wonderful restaurant is a gift that will also be a cherished memory. Or, a gourmet club that sends meat, cheese or fresh fruit seasonally or monthly will remind her year round that you appreciate her.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is a tough Taurus who can appear manly even while swapping recipes with Martha Stewart or playing a role as the tooth fairy. Born under the first earth sign of the zodiac, Johnson's nickname, "The Rock," is astrologically fitting. Venus, Mars and Saturn in Gemini reveals a witty, spontaneous, flirtatious and communicative nature.
