Sun and Saturn Conjunct One reason the human species has changed much more than other animals who have shared the Earth with us for the last few hundred thousand years is that humans are perpetually dissatisfied. It's a survival instinct that has kept us striving, solving …Read more. You have fans. Do you know who they are? They're the people who root for you to do your best and make you want to keep proving that you're worthy of their favor. The eve of the full moon in generous, creative Leo is a brilliant time to take stock of your talents, resources and supporters. It's also a time to get back in touch with what inspires you.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You will come across people who will take advantage of you if given the opportunity. So be tough. Drive a hard bargain. Make others pay before they get what they want from you.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). The same things that make you cash poor make you soul rich. Included in the category is anything having to do with the care and feeding of elders, children, friends and pets.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You will go into a situation with a purpose and then rather quickly completely forget what that purpose was. Your mind is keen; however, the situation around you is filled with seductive distractions.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). You'll honor others with your attention, which of course is quite different from honoring them with your opinions. Making new friends and fans is easy for you now.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). When there is much to do, everyone gets along well. They have to. When there's not enough to do, there will be arguing and dissension. Your job is to create challenges and work that keep the team focused.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). The way to extra income is easy for you once you realize how simple it is. In order to sell your idea, service or product, pay enough attention to other people to know what they are likely to buy.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). There's potential for unnecessary confusion, miscommunication and generally annoying little problems. Such trouble can be avoided, though, by stating what you want clearly and upfront.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Whatever the task at hand is, do the hard part first. You'll be happier for this effort, which shows strength of character and more maturity than most people possess.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You see yourself as a giver, and others see you as one of the more generous people they know. You're vulnerable to being unduly tapped by those who fall into the category of "taker." Protective precautions will be necessary.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Note that all really great ideas initially seem to be improbable, impertinent or threatening in some way.

Don't let early judgments keep you from making a real creative breakthrough.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Because you are open-minded, curious and willing to take a risk, you'll luck out this afternoon. The happy consequence of your good fortune will favorably affect your social life.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You love dealing with talented people and are prepared for the special challenges that sometimes go along with this. You'll wisely choose your words and pick your battles with great care.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Feb. 6). You'll get the distinct impression that love is on your side, and you'll be right. You'll sign a deal in March. Finances pick up in June. Try to be supportive of family even when loved ones make choices with which you don't agree. A wonderful happening in August makes you glad you stuck together as a team. Taurus and Gemini people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 5, 32, 15, 3 and 18.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I am a Leo who has been trying to live a more spiritual life that includes listening to inner guidance and/or divine direction. I am open to being led by my ancestors, angels, saints, etc. I ask for a sign, and I get 20, and then I still don't know what to do next. What if I can't tell the difference between my fear and legitimate guidance that's for the highest and best?"

You make a very good point with these concerns. As it is with fishing in the ocean, when you cast a wide net, you may end up with a lot of strange disparate debris that you don't know what to do with. It may help your spiritual quest to get specific about your spiritual practice. One way to do this is to create a ritual around your spiritual practice. For instance, you could decide that each morning you'll say a prayer to invite divine guidance into your life and then sit in silence for 10 minutes. Establishing a habit that you adhere to will bring a sacred order to your spiritual life. Your fears will be intermittent and changeable. Divine guidance will be consistent and persistent, and it will come with a feeling of comfort and goodness.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Mockumentarian Christopher Guest was born under the humanitarian sign of the "water bearer," indicating that he's predisposed to sharing precious commodities with the world. The resource he shares most readily is among the most valued and necessary: humor. Guest's intensely serious characters create an equal and opposite amount of levity in the hearts of audience members.
