Summer gets off to a lucky start as lovely Venus and Saturn, who is usually a disciplinarian, agree to work harmoniously toward the same end — maximum fun and enjoyment. There are times when relationships take work, and this should not be one of them. Those with similar interests and goals will have smooth sailing. And those having a stormy time of it are probably operating at cross-purposes.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You have a profound effect on others. Your thought waves will influence the stranger passing on the street, the clerk in the grocery store and the person picking up your mail, as well as those individuals in your inner circle. So keep your energy friendly and peaceful. Loved ones thrive in the comfort of your presence.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). This week is about completion. Sometimes to complete a task doesn't mean to physically finish it. And sometimes even when the task is physically finished, your being still feels incomplete. Work until you've done all you need to do on a job, regardless of how far that takes you into the project.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You are so busy taking care of business that you don't have the inclination to be overly introspective. You won't feel like resting until the main work is finished. Try to remember your dreams over the next few days. They will be stuffed with information on how you're really feeling about all that's happening.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). This week you are aware of how you are perceived without being overly worried about what people think of you. You'll make a fantastic impression when you hold back personal information. Remain a mystery, and people fill in the blanks with their own exciting, imaginative facts. You will become bigger than life.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). The wealthy American industrialist J. Paul Getty said that if you can actually count your money, you are not really a rich man. If this is true, you'll cultivate a sense of prosperity in yourself this week if you simply don't count. Anyway, being too careful with your pennies will make you feel poor. Throw caution to the wind.

THIS WEEK'S BIRTHDAYS: Your will is powerful. Problems go away due to your brilliant choice of focus. You don't recognize the limits to what you can do, and suddenly they don't exist. You'll be showered with blessings now through July. Give back to society in August and the cycle will begin anew in October. Developments in your personal life lead to different hobbies and work.

One person has a fantastic effect on your mood. Include this one as much as possible — travel and commitments are favored, too.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). People in your work environment are likely to surprise you in strange ways. It will be helpful for you to eliminate your expectations of your boss, employees, customers or colleagues. You won't be disappointed, so you'll see the benefit in these happenings. And for those on a job hunt, this is an auspicious week.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). As the sign that is legendary for having powers of diplomacy, it is so natural for you to move in a state of cooperation that you are amazed that others would have a hard time of it. This week you'll meet someone who thrives on conflict. If you can't move around them, at least be patient. You don't have to fight to win.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Your motivation is high this week. It doesn't really matter which direction you choose, but you've got to start moving. Whether you go east or west, you'll get to your destination if you keep at it long enough thanks to our round earth. The short way is sweet, and the long way is fulfilling, so you can't lose.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You'll be working in a group this week, which has the potential to be frustrating. You will have an easier time if you lower your expectations. Make more room for personal freedom, yours and theirs. As long as you start together and end together, you should consider the whole experience a success.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You are pragmatic when you need to be, but you are also always on the lookout for opportunities to transcend practicalities and move people on an emotional level. The early week brings inspiration. By Thursday you are ready to design an act of love for the purpose of touching another person's heart.
