Venus, Uranus and Love
As rebellious Uranus follows the retrograde trend started by Venus last week, it's a time to realize that love is not a one-size-fits-all proposal. It's a custom job. If your love isn't catered to the person receiving it, it's not love. Love is more than a projection and an intention. It's a dance, a conversation. It requires listening with one's whole being and reacting to the unique demands of the moment.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). The principles of flag design suggest that a flag should be so simple that a child could draw it from memory. This principle applies to at least three projects you'll take on this week. It won't be enough to clear up the complicated parts. Distill things down to their essence, and then concentrate everything on those essentials.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). The conversational matches of the week will be thrilling. Spirited discussion and lively debate excite you. The loss of temper is another game. View this infraction as a red flag. Hotheaded humans should be dealt with in the manner of frightening animals. Back away, slowly, in the opposite direction.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). The truth is the dare this week. Though it will take great intestinal fortitude to speak honestly about the real facts, you'll feel compelled to do so. You'll avoid drama and stay emotionally reserved. You'll deliver the truth in a direct, succinct and overall classy manner.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). There's a secret you're guarding in your heart like a valuable treasure. As it is with toting valuables, sometimes you wish you didn't have the extra responsibility of protecting yourself from loss. The responsibility limits your freedom. What if you just came out with it? Would that lessen the load?
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Infatuation causes you to do funny things, like buy what you normally wouldn't or say something so not you. If you surprise yourself by presenting a side of you that you hardly recognize, it's not because you're pretentious. It's just that you've been thrown off guard by a person or situation unlike any you've experienced.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You used to think your life had to have purpose and direction to be meaningful. But maybe that's all icing on the cake. This week you feel rather rudderless, and still life is sweet. You might even say you're inordinately happy for no reason. Don't over-think. Just go with it.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). This week teams your strong desire with your gift for communication. You're positively influential. When the gates are locked and the doors are closed, short, convincing words will take you where you want to go. After Thursday, you'll want to bring others along. Shared experience is richer.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You always thought that people who have the ability to earn something should not lower themselves to beg for it. This is what drives you to work on a certain skill set this week. There is something deep inside you that tells you that you can have the thing you want even though you don't have the ability quite yet. You will.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). If you tried to get to the next floor down in one leap, you'd probably break a bone. To get to the next floor up in one leap is functionally impossible. And yet you move seamlessly up and down the various floors of your life, one step at a time. Your week is marked by patience, persistence and success.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Do peace and tranquility always have to go with predictability? The premise will be challenged several times this week. The question is: Can you feel tranquil while out of your element? Can you feel peaceful when you don't know what's going to happen next? You'll enjoy finding the answers to these questions.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Just because you sense that something cannot be known to you in this lifetime doesn't make you stop wondering about it. You may think it foolish to spend much time chasing answers that will likely never be revealed, and yet it will somehow make your life richer to do so.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You're not about to put your fate in the hands of the love gods, as they recently have proved too impulsive for your taste. You doubt their ability to correctly judge character. In matters of romantic destiny, you will deal assertively, practically with full awareness. You will not give up control or lose your head.
THIS WEEK'S BIRTHDAYS: It's said that the journeys that cover the most distance are the ones we take inside ourselves. It will ring true for you this year. In August, you'll give someone a break and gain valuable (and bankable) skills and insights in the process. November will bring a merger, perhaps in the form of love. Your best leads will come early in 2016. Be ruthless in your pursuit of a goal, because you'll either obtain it or grow beyond it by February. March will be your windfall month.
