Because the sun's journey into Libra on September 22 brings an official end to the summer, this week is the last moment to revel in the season. The sky will be quiet. It's as though the planets have agreed to step back and clear the cosmic vibration. They'll pull down a blank screen so we can project the movie of our minds in peace. Whether you reminisce about recent history or imagine the future, there's beautiful clarity to the picture.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). In many ways, the dreams of yesterday have been realized and the hopes of tomorrow are still vague. This is a transitional period. You'll keep challenging yourself, yes, but which challenges should you choose? This week may not bring answers, but pay attention. Gather information — it will be important.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). People who start their own businesses often fail, but they rarely say they regret the experience. Maybe it's not a business that some of you Taurus people are considering, but it's similarly risky and something you'd be creating on your own. This is an excellent week to give it a try! You won't be sorry you did.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). People are rooting for you. They want you to win. They want an easy road for you. Of course, that wouldn't make for a very interesting story or a very strong person. The universe is rooting for you, too, but with a different agenda. It wants you to stretch, grow and become as interesting and strong as possible.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Often the highest quality option isn't the one that wins out. The familiar option will trump it nine times out of 10. Someone keeps showing up, and you're starting to get comfortable with this. But is it really the best option for you? Step away to gain perspective.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). As you try to make yourself useful in new ways, the doors that open to your future will be unlocked through the process of understanding and owning the past. Look for keys in your history. Review your past, considering all of the odd jobs, hobbies, athletic pursuits and social fun that made you the skilled individual you are.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Some people can't seem to listen to you without subsequently attempting to top your story or bring the focus back to them. Maybe they're just trying to relate, but you need to connect with those who have better communication and social skills than this. You deserve to be heard and acknowledged.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). What you spend your leisure time, energy and money on reveals what is truly important to you. Lately you haven't been entirely satisfied with the outcome of leisure time expenditures, and perhaps that's because your needs and interests have changed. This is the week to try new activities with different people.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Your keen social instincts kick in strong this week, and you'll sense whom you need to talk to. You'll meet someone with whom you share a passion or a problem. The common goal, concern or worry provides a natural starting point for what has the potential to be a long and dear relationship.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Even though you appreciate your current surroundings and circumstances, you also desire and are capable of much more. Build a case for the future you want. You'll get cosmic help in attracting new influences and inspiration that will help you move to where and who you want to be.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You'll have to fight the tendency to reflect on the past too much. The paths you've taken in your life have led you to a deeper understanding of yourself and others and have broadened your capacity to love and be loved. So why not call it "good enough" and get back to the business of enjoying the present more fully?
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). If your skill level is greater than the difficulty of your work, you're going to be bored. The same applies to your social life. If you've "been there, done that" and "had this exact conversation before," chances are this is not a candidate for your everlasting friendship. Be nice as you set your sights on challenge and adventure.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You have such a strong sense of where you're going that you'll hate being told what to do this week. You'll apply your rebel spirit to pursue what very few around you can relate to. Don't waste time trying to explain. They'll catch up soon enough (or they won't), and in the meantime, you'll make remarkable progress.
THIS WEEK'S BIRTHDAYS: You won't make many demands of the year, and you don't need to — the year has great bounty and many happy surprises in store for you. A schedule change in the next three weeks suddenly allows you to spend time with the person and/or activity you've been missing so much. October brings a shot at the next tier of your professional world. Excursions and deals are the highlight of November. Your nonjudgmental open heart will attract love and friendship galore in 2015.
