Two astrological aspects drum up the excitement. First, Saturn emboldens Venus. People not only stand true to their affections, they back 'em up with follow-through and care. Second, plucky Mars aligns with planet of unity, Neptune, reminding us to walk the paradox of the individual, simultaneously separate from and one with all of life.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). People don't know how to take you now, so you might as well go all out with the mixed messages. And while you're at it, why be content to irritate/inspire those you live with when you can irritate/inspire the world at large?
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You manage to get comfortable without using money, and you're as rich as you are satisfied. If there were a contest, you would be named the richest person around. Since there's not, they'll just call you happy.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). If patience is a virtue, impatience is a vice — and one that you'll indulge now. While stuck in traffic, waiting on service or enduring a slow Internet connection, your silent scream can be heard across the universe.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). You're in a bright and whimsical mood. Creativity breeds publicity. Do you want it? Only if you have something to sell. Figure out what that is and you'll make a pretty penny.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You can't choose wrong. Behind one door is a celebration; the other, a learning experience, and both are a prize. Anyone wise would be hard pressed to determine which had more value.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (JUNE 21). You will be the exception to many a rule this year. It might be smart to throw out the book entirely and start writing your own set of dictums to live by. The extra money you earn through the next seven weeks allows an elaborate experiment. Your personal life is adventurous through August — you could get used to this! Libra and Leo adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 9, 10, 44, 21 and 13.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You're not sure whether to doubt an idea or march in favor or it. To make your choice even more interesting, the gray areas are cordoned off now and you're asked to chose a side.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Finding yourself in the company of interesting people, you might think yourself lucky. But this is not luck. You quite naturally send out the right mood to attract the person you most would like to be around.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). The bonds of love are not broken, just torn. Mend them up with your secret talent for recognizing the other person's good intention.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You're inclined to attract the things you need, instead of chase after them. The former method is more difficult, as all the work must be done in faith. The former method is vigorous and fun, but not necessarily effective.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). If you find yourself waiting around, remember that everything unfolds in its own time. Pushing is futile; interfering is impossible. Getting frustrated only makes for unpleasantness. So flow with it.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Put your full effort into paying off existing expenses, not creating new ones. It takes self-control, and you're definitely up to it. Tonight, your good-natured teasing of someone makes this person feel so loved.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You suspect someone of plucking your heartstrings, but really, giving your love the way you do makes those strings vibrate on their own. Your instincts are especially hot tonight. Money comes from new business or small gambles.
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I am a teacher at an elementary school and there is one child that is very smart but very disruptive. We are trying behavior modification with him and sometimes it works ... or not. How can I help control his outbursts and his emotions so he can focus on learning? I am an Aries and he is a Sagittarius."
Sagittarius kids are a bundle of energy, naturally, owing to their bright personality. These children need plenty of leeway to explore their surroundings and push beyond their own limits (and that of others). It is healthy — to an extent. His acting out is amplified by an unstable, or otherwise lacking, home environment, pushing naturally excessive fire energy to even greater heights. Talking things out or appealing to his emotions often won't work with fire signs — it could actually exaggerate his response. The way to control fire is through containment, by setting boundaries and accountability (likely what he's missing at home), and with physical and creative activities that "contain" his pent-up energy. It's plain frustrating being a fire sign kid without something fun to express himself through! As a fellow fire sign, you two connect, giving you an edge.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Nicole Kidman is born on the cusp of Gemini and Cancer, but she is a Gemini. Those born on the cusp (the day or two before the sun enters a new sign) are said to share some of the traits of that sign. While versatile Gemini sun describes her unique ability this actress has in not becoming typecast, the Cancer side of Nicole is seen in the joy that motherhood and family brings her.
