If you like Holiday Mathis, you might enjoy

If you've ever killed a person with kindness, or at least bowled them over, you've experienced the virtually lethal levels of interpersonal intelligence that today's lunar energy brings. Libra moon's got finesse. Pull on her winning combination of appropriateness, kindness and compliments, to fabulous effect.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Having to approve or disapprove of a situation is energy consuming. The clouds of judgment lift so you can see the situation for what it really is — two people doing the best they can to make things work.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Desire is a projection of future pleasure you hope to create, usually based on a feeling from your past. And though it motivates you to achieve a goal, it also robs you of enjoying what's around now. Let this moment rule supreme.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Inconsistency drives you mad — unless, of course, the one making all the fast, unpredictable changes is you. Then you chalk it up to fashion, being of-the-moment and generally fun. And you're right!

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Having terrific manners will serve you well. You'll be chosen for missions of diplomacy, like meeting the parents or other VIPs. You could also be given a raise.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You've formed bonds so tight they will certainly last a lifetime. Still, you can't always be with the ones you love. You'll experience a lesson in healthy detachment and handle it brilliantly.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (MAY 15). This year, you master the art of having a good time. Your friend and family look to you to keep gatherings interesting, brighten up the days and give a wild slant to the nights. You don't have to do anything but be yourself to be loveable. Professional gains in June put your big plans within your grasp. Your connection with Cancer and Leo is tight. Your lucky numbers are: 30, 1, 25, 39 and 16.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You're a rose in a field of dandelions. You may wish to have a disposition that's softer, fluffy and able to blow with the breeze, but you don't. You're strong, with the ability to wound or take someone's breath away with your beauty.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You're completely unaware of any potential obstacles as you gaze into the eyes of your happy vision of the future. And because you believe, if only for a fleeting second, that you are invincible, you really are.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). If you're going to have a problem, you at least choose one that is very interesting.
In fact, it may be downright rare. Those who help you may first pause to marvel at the unusual nature of your predicament.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You have magic powers — at least according to that person who admires you so much. You may secretly wish this person would tone down their estimation of you because living up to it is a lot of pressure!

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). There are certain things about yourself that you're not in favor of, yet have been unable to change thus far. You frame one such trait in an attractive way now. Someone may even fall in love with you because of it.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Struggling to get ahead and stay ahead is futile. There is no "ahead," there is only "here." Give up the fight and decide that right where you are now is the perfect place.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). As a water sign, you inherently understand that life changes form, flows in new directions and is constantly shifting. You float with whatever comes. You'll even suffer the fool who stands up in your "boat" and rocks it.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I am an Aries turning 40. I have been always the warrior, always taking it for the team (family, company, community), and wonder when is it my turn to be on the receiving end of some care, love and financial abundance?"

Perfect! You're turning 40! And I'm sure you're familiar with the phrase "choose your battles wisely." Now comes the "wisely" part. Putting out fires all the time can squeeze a woman right out of her own picture! When you're caught up in the fight, how can a neighbor with fresh baked cookies and a ticket to the symphony even get their foot in the door? Here's what I've learned about receiving: Without a requisite amount of empty space in your life and mind, it doesn't know where to find you. This year you can selectively delegate several loud people who have come to rely on you to the outer wings. Your challenge is, ever so quietly, exiting the noisy ring, to fight fewer fires for other people. Just refuse to put them out. By so doing, you discover what you'd like to be doing instead, nurturing the most valuable person you know — you. Happy birthday!

CELEBRITY PROFILES: It was an unprecedented move: a former NFL player dancing the fox trot. And with panache, the winsome Emmitt Smith opened eyes about what "real men" can do. Taurus men are as arresting for their burliness, as their charm. Sure, the manly man can always impress with his strength, but it's a combination of strength and grace that wins hearts.
