JOBY Unlocks the Media Potential of Your iPhone 4

Comment

For the creative user of the iPhone 4, Gorillamobile has a new tripod just for you.

The new Gorillamobile from JOBY has been entirely redesigned to take full advantage of the rich media features of the iPhone 4, including: the front-facing camera, camera flash, HD video and retina display.

This device combines the protection of a durable, always-on bumper case with the hands-free positioning capability of a JOBY tripod. The bumper case design celebrates the sleek form of the iPhone and is equipped with a rail system that easily slides on and off the tripod stand in portrait or landscape orientation.

No matter what position the iPhone and tripod achieve, the bumper case ensures that both the camera and the flash are ready for shooting.

The flexible, wrappable legs and rubber grip rings inspire creative perspectives for time-lapse photos, steady video recording, easy film viewing and comfortable FaceTime calls without losing circulation in your fingers.

"After months of research, we recognized the opportunity to enhance the experience of using Apple's line of products, particularly for media consumption, image capture and comfort over extended use," says JOBY CEO Forrest Baringer-Jones.

"We were inspired to develop a family of products that fully unleashes the creative power of Apple's mobile devices using next generation materials and thoughtful design. The Gorillamobile for iPhone 4 is the first in this family but will be joined by two other revolutionary mobile accessories," adds Baringer-Jones.

JOBY will be expanding the family with two new iPad products. Staying true to its distinctive, user-driven research methodology, the company explored the distinct ways users have been integrating the iPad into their lifestyles. The new iPad accessories will enhance a diverse set of usage scenarios in multiple environments.

The Gorillamobile for the iPhone 4 retails for $40. It has been selected for an International CES Innovations 2011 Design and Engineering Award in the Wireless Handsets Accessories category.

GRAB GUARD

It's a unique new security product that prevents the theft of all types of personal possessions effectively, affordable and fashionably.

Grab Guard is an anti-theft solution that secures any purse, briefcase, backpack, laptop case, luggage, bikes or even golf bags. The 2.5 inch wide circular lock sports a retractable wire cable "lock line." The innovative lock line is used to wrap around the strap of the valuable and around a secure item like a chair, desk, table leg or shopping cart handle and more.

Grab Guard was invented by a South Florida mother of five who witnessed two purses being stolen from a local restaurant. "I developed and patented Grab Guard to help others avoid the potential loss of valuables and identity," says Michele McCauley.

Simple to use, this device requires no key to keep track of. Instead, it provides a streamlined, sturdy two-digit lock offering up to 50 pounds of pull strength. When the user is ready to unlock the valuable, the combination is dialed in, and a push of the release button frees the cable, allowing it to retract into the unit to be stored until the next use.

Grab Guard is an ideal size — visual enough to deter thieves who may see it attached to the strap yet small enough not to be cumbersome and clunky. Although strong and tough, it is not an industrial looking lock like other theft-prevention devices on the market.

Available in several colors and styles, it will fashionably fit women's handbags and men's briefcases. It also comes in bright, fun colors perfect for kids' and teens' backpacks.

The Grab Guard retails for $20. For more information, call 888-910-GRAB (888-910-4722) or visit www.grabguard.com.
