Kira (500-39)

Designed for gracious, open living with a colonial fa‡ade, the Kira (500-39) is ideal for the corner lot with a side entry. The home is long, but not too deep, and would work well on a number of the uniquely shaped lots of newer developments. The Kira has 1,505 square feet of living space and would be a wonderful first home for the young couple with smaller children.

The front door opens into the spacious vaulted great room with a gas fireplace on the rear wall. A window on each side of the fireplace adds an attractive touch. On the right of the great room is a vaulted nook with a door to the backyard and the open kitchen. A window lies over the rear corner sink for extra natural light. The counter space runs down one wall. Separating the kitchen from the great room is a counter with an eating bar.

In front of the kitchen is the utility room with a door to the two-car garage. There is ample room for a freezer as well as a long folding table with an overhead cabinet in the utility.

The left side of the Kira is dedicated to the bedrooms. Bedrooms two and three both have wall closets and large windows that bathe the rooms in sunlight. Between the two in the hallway is a large linen closet. Adjacent to the master bath is a full bath with a tub convenient for household use.

The master suite runs across the rear of the Kira and has a vaulted ceiling.

On the sidewall is a long double wall closet. Large windows face the backyard and provide a great view of the flowers in bloom in the spring. The master bath has a single sink with a tub and a second door that opens onto the patio in the rear.

The Kira has tremendous eye appeal from the front and would provide the family that lives in it with a comfortable, open living area. It is an ideal starter size and would accommodate a family of four with plenty of space to grow.
