Fous (401-68)

The Fous (401-68) offers many bay windows and open spaces. The main living area is 3,359 square feet, however, this unique home has an optional bonus room that could potentially add 640 square feet more to the upstairs.

From the entry, the open staircase on the left leads up to the master suite and study, while the private den is just to the right of the entry. To the rear of the home is a large country kitchen with two raised eating bars, which hold the range and oven, sink and dishwasher. Just past the desk in the rear of the home is the dining room with a beautiful bay window view.

The vaulted family room and nook has three sides, open to views of the backyard. Skylights overhead brighten this area, while a fireplace helps to warm the room. A wood box is next to the fireplace, loadable from the garage.

A shop makes up part of the garage, with its own individual doors and a staircase to the bonus area. From the garage, one re-enters the home through the utility room. Here an oversized sink, bench and hideaway ironing center make an ideal clothes care room. A full bath located next to the utility makes it perfect as a mudroom.

At the far left of the home, two bedrooms share a full bath and linen closet. Across the hall is another larger linen closet for bedding, sheets and towels.

Open to the entry and directly across from the utility room are stairs going to the second floor landing, which has an open railing. Both the master suite and the adjacent study are vaulted, with windows taking up most of the rear wall.

Beyond the sink area is the door leading to the optional bonus room with attic access. This is an area that could be used for any purpose, even a separate suite for visitors or college-age siblings, as it has its own stairs to the shop/garage area.
