Flavor Flav, the self-proclaimed biggest star of VH1, reveals he's reached the end of his days as the master of his own reality show harem of sorts. He tells us, "I'm not going to do any more 'Flavor of Loves.' It's getting a little repetitious for me, you know what I'm saying?"

While viewers are seeing Flav, who's often referred to as the Clown Prince of Hip Hop, winnowing down his latest group of wannabe girlfriends on season three of the weird hit show, he is, in actuality, already done with the job.

"I can't give you the outcome of season three," he notes. But he can tell us whether he's weary of the game of choosing between beautiful, bratty and brazen women with cameras trailing along for all the world to see.

"Honestly, to tell you the truth, I'm never tired of bringing entertainment to television. But it's not really like I'm looking for love. I automatically get that when I walk out the door," he says.

As you may have heard by now, Flav has a sitcom coming our way, "Under One Roof," which premieres April 16 — the first sitcom offering from MyNetwork TV (soon to be FlavNetwork TV, to hear him tell it). He plays a guy newly released from jail who moves in with his well to do, conservative brother (Kelly Perine) in Beverly Hills. That sounds a little "Fresh Prince of Bel Air"-ish, especially since the two shows share writer-producer Danielle Quarles, "but ours has a different twist," says Flav. And a way different cast.

Right now Flav is in Canada, about halfway through eight weeks of shooting the first order of episodes. To make all his scheduling work, "I had to cut a lot of other things out, including touring with my group Public Enemy. We had dates on the table we had to cancel out," he reports. "My personal career right now is more important to me than anything but the air I breathe."

SOMETHING MYSTERIOUS: Kelly Preston says it wasn't just the personal call she got from "Medium" exec producer/TV icon Glenn Gordon Caron that prompted her to join the Patricia Arquette drama in a four-episode arc starting April 14. "When he called, I said I absolutely would do the show. It's my favorite, and I've known Patricia for years, so I'm having an absolute blast."

Albeit, an in-the-dark blast. Preston spoke to this column after her first day on the set and admitted she wasn't quite clear what was happening with her character. "I'm just kind of going on and trusting Glenn and what he told me. I didn't read anything before accepting it, but it was a really great pitch. I play a venture capitalist, and Joe (Arquette's husband, played by Jake Weber) comes to the firm where I work to pitch this idea of an amazing solar-powered energy invention, a solar cell amplification system."

We do know that as things evolve, Preston's character becomes a thorn in the DuBois marriage that could go deep.

"I'm in four of the last five shows of the season," says Preston. Hmmm. Are we talking the old marital discord cliffhanger?

WHEN YOU'RE HOT: Hip-hop choreographer Shane Sparks seems to be in demand having just come off a successful first season on MTV's "America's Best Dance Crew," but he tells us we will not be seeing him as a judge on Fox's popular dance show when it returns in May. "I'm not going to be on the new season of 'So You Think You Can Dance' as of right now. MTV wanted me exclusively, so when I signed a deal with them, I couldn't do the other one anymore," says Sparks. "'So You Think You Can Dance' has been calling to see if I can do something. We'll see what happens. I would love to do choreography for like a group number, but I don't want to do the competing part anymore."

While Sparks is excited about his MTV program, which returns in June for a second season, he admits he'll miss "So You Think You Can Dance." "I'm going to miss the show because it's a hot show. But the main thing I'm going to miss is being able to show my stuff off and getting that recognition for my creativity." However, he's not regretting his decision. "If I wasn't a part of 'America's Best Dance Crew,' I would be sick right now."

Now that the MTV show has one season under its belt, Sparks says he hopes it will inspire even better dancers to try out. "I'm hoping that everybody who loved this show saw how serious these dancers are and what level you need to be on before you audition. The ones that are serious about it, they need to step it up. I hope we get another JabbaWockeeZ or Status Quo, but better."

LIKE MAGIC: Chris Reid (a.k.a. Kid of Kid n' Play), Pussycat Dolls member Kim Wyatt, C. Thomas Howell, comedian ANT, Hal Sparks, Lisa Ann Walter and Carnie Wilson will be seen putting their magician skills to the test when VH1's "Celebracadabrabra" launches April 20. Host and Judge Jonathan Levit admits his job on the competition show was a bit tricky in itself. "I had to ride that line of being a confidante with the competitors, then being completely objective in the voting process. It was difficult. I also found myself getting very emotionally involved in the show," admits the actor/emcee/magician. "I cared about these people, and the magician coaches, we were really a team. I found myself taking it very seriously. Over six weeks of shooting it became very intense." As for whether he's stayed in touch with the competitors, he says, "As a matter of fact, I have. I've built friendships out of this."
