DEAR STACY: How about an update on Larry Hagman? — Shawna S., Cleveland

DEAR SHAWNA: The TV icon of "Dallas" and "I Dream of Jeannie" fame's last major TV role was in a five-episode arc of "Nip/Tuck" in 2006 — and Hollywood should use him more often. Still, he's most certainly active. Some 13 years after the liver transplant that saved his life, Larry remains an active proponent of organ donations.

He was recently in the Seattle area, visiting his daughter and her family (including 13-year-old and 16-year-old granddaughters) — and promoting the work of the Northwest Kidney Center there. He also visited patients at its dialysis center, much to their delight. In May, he's slated to emcee a scholarship fund raising event for the Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, N.C. And he and his wife Maj are active in environmental and other causes. Hagman has a website (www.larryhagman.com) chock full of information and personal observations that you'd probably find worth visiting.

DEAR STACY: In the late 1960s, there was a series starring Jay North (formerly of "Dennis the Menace") and an East Indian actor by the name of Sajid Khan. I think the series location was India. What was the name of the show, and what are the actors doing now? — Yvette D., New York

DEAR YVETTE: "Maya" is the name of the 1966 movie and 1967-68 NBC series starring Jay North and Sajid Khan, and an elephant named Maya. It was set in the Indian jungle. Khan, who became a teen heartthrob of the day, acted in a number of other productions including his last notable role in the 1983 "Heat and Dust." Divorced and the father of a son, he reportedly is currently trying to put together a film adaptation of the novel "The Moon in Rahu."

North — whose turbulent life has been chronicled on "E! True Hollywood Stories" and elsewhere — found himself typecast and unwanted by Hollywood, went through years of depression, three marriages and drug trouble before straightening himself out. He did a stint in the Navy, then became a prison guard in Florida and at 56 is now retired. He wed current, fourth wife Cindy Hackney in 1993, and they have three children.

DEAR STACY: On a "Charmed" rerun on TNT, the young actor who played the firestarter — is he the same man who plays the "Reaper" on the CW? He was younger on "Charmed." — L.G., Brooklyn, N.Y.

DEAR L.G.: Bret Harrison of the CW's "Reaper" does not have any episodes of "Charmed" on his credit list. Alex Black of "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" played Tyler, the young firestarter, on an episode of "Charmed."

DEAR STACY: I was sorry to hear Ivan Dixon of "Hogan's Heroes" had passed.
What was the cause, and how old was he? — J.B., Springfield, Mass.

DEAR J.B.: The actor and civil rights activist remembered as POW Sgt. Kinchloe on "Hogan's Heroes" — whose credits also included "A Raisin in the Sun" on both Broadway and in film, and such TV fare as "The Twilight Zone" — died of a hemorrhage and complications of kidney failure March 16 at age 76. After his stint in "Heroes" ended, he became a successful television director for more than two decades, then spent several years in Hawaii as the owner-operator of radio station KONI (FM) in Maui until moving back to the mainland in '01. He's survived by a grown son and daughter, and by his wife of 58 years, the former Berlie Ray.

DEAR STACY: The young actress who played Stefania on the show "Everybody Loves Raymond" from Italy: What's her real name, and what is she doing now? How old is she? — Long Island Reader, N.Y.

DEAR READER: Alex Meneses, 43, hails from the South side of Chicago, and is of Mexican-Ukrainian descent — but she did live in Italy for a couple of years during her modeling days. She's a busy working actress who is in the upcoming Kevin Sorbo adventure feature "Fire From Below" and also guest-starred in a "Psych" episode in January.

DEAR STACY: I would like to know a little about Brian on Fox News in the morning, including where he is from. — Dorothy W., Hawthorne, N.J.

DEAR DOROTHY: Brian Kilmeade of "Fox & Friends" on Fox News hails from Long Island, N.Y. and is a graduate of Long Island University. He started off his broadcasting career as a correspondent on "Channel One," the high school news program.

With a background in sports broadcasting (co-hosting "The Jim Brown Show" sports radio talk show, co-hosting the "Ultimate Fighting Championship," etc.), Kilmeade joined the Fox network in December 1997. He's also a sports anchor on the network, and he has a Fox News Radio show, "Brian and the Judge" with Andrew Napolitano. Author of "The Games Do Count" and "It's How You Play the Game," Kilmeade is married, and he and wife Dawn have two daughters and a son.

DEAR STACY: What's up with Richard Karn? I enjoyed him on "Family Feud," and of course, "Home Improvement." — Tracey P., Hawthorne, Calif.

DEAR TRACEY: Karn continues to pop up in TV and film. He co-starred in Disney's direct-to-video movie, "Snow Buddies," that was released in February, and appeared on Courteney Cox Arquette's "Dirt" series, as the father of movie star Holt McLaren (Josh Stewart).

With reports by Stephanie DuBois and Emily Feimster.
