App For Recycling

Maybe you're one of those people with a good sense of social responsibility and want to recycle that old fax machine; however, it turns out that finding a recycling center is a bigger hassle than your sense of responsibility. Well, now there's an "app" (application that is used on the iPhone) that can help you fulfill your green intentions and get that old electronic equipment where it needs to go: it's called iRecycle.

You enter your location and what you need to recycle, and the app (with access to over 100,000 recycling centers) will find you the nearest center that'll take your stuff.

Then it'll give you the center's phone number, hours of operation and even display a map to help you get there.

iRecycle can find a recycling resting place for over 200 materials, and it's free (this may be the best part).
