Know Your Constitution: Today is Constitution Day. It used to be Citizenship Day, but that was changed by Sen. Robert Byrd as a rider within a massive spending bill in 2004. The Constitution was indeed signed on this day in 1787, and Louisville, Ohio, led the way in making the day "official." You won't get the day off, but if your school gets federal funding, you have to teach the kids about the Constitution today. Or else.

Honorary NL Teams: In 1882, the Troy Trojans and Worcester Brown Stockings were kicked out of the National League, of which both are still honorary members. The Troy Trojans are, essentially, the ancestors of the San Francisco Giants, since about half the Trojan players joined the New York Gothams, which became the Giants before moving to California.

The Brown Sox appear to have moved to Philadelphia and become the Quakers, now better known as the Phillies.
