George Voinovich won the Ohio Senate seat opened up after the incumbent went back to space. That would be John Glenn, who made history as the oldest man in space. As the junior senator from Ohio, Voinovich also intersected with pop culture trivia. On the last episode of "Spin City," Mike becomes an environmental lobbyist. He reports tangling with Alex Keaton, the junior senator from Ohio. (And of course, Michael J. Fox played both roles.)

Was there a real Robin Hood? Probably not, but that doesn't stop people from trying. Two candidates have emerged. One is Robert Hood of Yorkshire, an outlaw fugitive who lived in the 1220s. The stories say Robin Hood was from Loxley, which is in Yorkshire. Another was Robyn Hood, who was on the King's Chamber payroll in the 1320s.

However, there is no evidence he was an outlaw.
