She threatens to tell Eric, but Vargas warns her if she tries to disparage him in any way, he'll blab that she's got feelings for the priest. SNEAK PEEK: Jill wants revenge. PRIME TIME Say goodbye to Showtime's hit series “Dexter.” After eight years, the show about a serial killer with a heart (or maybe not) will end this June. Viewers are promised a lot of storyline threads will be knotted. When last we saw “Dexter,” his sister, Deb, had killed LaGuerta to save Dexter. Dexter also paid a visit to his former girlfriend/serial killer, Hannah. When he visits her in prison, she gives a really biting kiss. As blood drips from his mouth, Dexter continues to fume over Hannah's plot to murder Deb. In the Dexter handbook, kill who you want, but do not mess with my sister. There have been some rumblings that “Dexter” might do a spinoff. There is no pilot in place nor is there a wish list of characters they want to populate the show. The talk of a “Dexter” spinoff has most likely been leaked by Showtime. It appears that even “Dexter's” loyal fans think there is no “Dexter” without Dexter. The worst kept secret in tinsel town? NBC has canceled “Smash.” So sad, as in the past two weeks “Smash” has been as great as its wonderful debut episode two years ago. If you have not seen or DVR-ed it, go to Hulu and watch the magic that is Megan Hilty (Ivy). SMASH: Reading an article calling her a chorus girl who may not be up to the job of a lead, an insecure Ivy seeks support from her zone and offers praise. Karen continues to give Ana the cold shoulder because Jimmy gave one of Karen's songs to Ana to sing. Ana warns Karen that Jimmy has a brother, Adam, who claims Jimmy is a drug dealer and drug user. Jimmy explains to Karen his father beat them and their mother died. On the streets, he did what he had to do to survive. Telling Karen she has made him a better person, she agrees to give him another chance. That chance is rescinded when Jimmy sees Ana with Adam. He tells her to stay away from him. When his brother makes fun of Kyle, Jimmy beats him to a pulp. Karen, saying she needs to take care of herself, walks away. It is opening night for “Bombshell.” Karen, uneasy about being in the audience, goes to the premiere, as do Derek, Jimmy and Kyle. Ivy gives an incandescent performance. Even Karen admits Ivy was right for the part. At an after-the-show party, Ivy asks Karen to sing a duet with her. The duo sings a show-stopping version of “That's Life.” Tom is thrilled when he is asked to direct a revival of “City of Angels.” Julia tries to make amends by suggested that they do a musical version of “The Great Gatsby,” a dream they have had for years. Without telling her why, Tom demurs. Julia is furious when she realizes Tom was not excited by the project because he wants to direct “City of Angels.” Tom admits for now he wants to direct. Feeling betrayed because he did not tell her about his job offer, Julia moves out of his apartment. Derek and Scott make plans to bring the show from the Fringe workshop to Broadway. Tom and Kyle hook up. NEXT WEEK: Moving on. THE GOOD WIFE: While Alicia fights for the rights of workers to unionize, her own firm is misusing their staff. Kalinda is angry when she realizes Robyn gets health insurance and she does not. Cary invites Kalinda to join his firm, but she must work exclusively for his firm. Will wants to same deal. Kalinda uses them against each other to get what she wants -- a raise and health insurance. Veronica thinks Alicia belongs with Will, not Peter. Peter learns that he is behind, not ahead, in the election polls. Alicia goes on Charlie Rose and tells him that Peter's opponent has a drinking problem that will not let him focus on his duties. Peter tells Alicia he wants to take her to Hawaii and have a recommitment ceremony. In a total about-face, Owen champions Peter. Torn between Will and Peter, Alicia chooses Peter.
