Moon of Greener Grass There is no one standard of success that applies to all people. The people who wonder why "so-and-so" hasn't "made it big" are frustrated in their own lives. As the moon moves from Sagittarius, the station that sees greener grass on the other side, …Read more. Narcissism in the Fire-Sign Sky As for the people who seem to be in love with themselves, there's something oddly attractive about them at first. If you accidentally become enamored, you're not to be blamed as long as the fiery Sagittarius moon and the Leo sun rule the sky. Just …Read more. Uranus Turns Retrograde The human tendency is to believe the thing that resonates with one's instincts and disbelieve what doesn't, truth be damned. It takes an open mind to fight this tendency and erase bias. As Uranus joins four other planets in their retrograde dance, …Read more. Mercury in a Fire Sign Not only is it bad manners to interrupt people, but it represents a generally narcissistic worldview. The new moon hides under the surface of the Piscean sea. Instead of shining her light in the sky, she illuminates the dark waters of the soul. With Neptune and the sun in Pisces, as well, the focus will be on our belief systems, especially the unconscious structures that so often go undetected until illustrated in our circumstances.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). You'll meet people with whom you are compatible and also extremely similar in sensibility, values and experience. Enjoy the feeling of belonging that comes with this connection.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You may look back, but you will not stay back. You'll assess what the problem was yesterday, and you'll decide that from now on things will be different. You have the courage of your convictions.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You talk to people because they interest you, not because you want to make a sale. And yet, interacting successfully with others will broaden your financial horizons.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). You have the rare gift of being able to be completely objective about yourself. You'll correctly evaluate your behavior to see whether it's helping or hindering you, and you'll assess what needs to change.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). The real you has nothing to do with the needs and insecurities, fears and foibles by which you define yourself. All of that is just what happened to you. There's a secure and fearless self inside. You'll feel the presence strongly today.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). English author and fellow Virgo Samuel Johnson said, "The future is purchased by the present." You'll be so aware of the possible repercussions of your actions that you'll move extremely slowly and thoughtfully.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You can't change certain circumstances that govern your family life. People did what they did, and the results are somewhat inevitable. What you can change is your attitude. You'll make beauty out of the past.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You have a talent for fixing things. Part of your secret is that you act immediately, which is most often the best moment for mending. You know there's no time to waste in getting angry with yourself or anyone else for what went wrong.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Success goes to those who dare to act. So does failure. You're likely not quite ready to take your chances. You're right to hang back and study what's working (and not working) for others.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You get the feeling that you'll do your best work alone, and that's absolutely correct.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You can read people well, especially when they are trying to hide something from you. Once you get wind of a mystery, you'll unravel it quickly. You may even be hired to do this.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). There's something you really want to do, so it's a little odd that you have to talk yourself into it. But that's how it goes. A good you-to-you talk in the mirror will do the trick to psyche yourself up for what you have to do.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Feb. 21). The fantastic luck that comes to you this year happens because you are supportive and willing to give others the best of your energy and attention. Your association with old friends brings new prospects in March. Family makes you proud in May. Someone sings your praises publicly in June. Aquarius and Taurus people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 5, 23, 50, 14 and 33.
FRIENDSHIP TIPS FROM THE STARS: Friends are one of the true measures of wealth in this lifetime. When relationships are going well, it's easy to take friendship for granted. Keep your relationship skills sharp and your friendships strong with these tips from the stars.
AQUARIUS: Throw parties. Because you can. And also because you move in such varied circles that if you don't bring all of the fantastic people you know into one place every so often, they may never get the chance to meet one another. It's almost as though you have a karmic obligation. Who knows? You could introduce someone to their future marriage partner, business partner, customer, teacher or new BFF. Or you could just introduce them to a fun time, and that's good, too!
PISCES: Take it slow. Pisces people have this way of intuitively connecting with people and creating incredibly close relationships without knowing how they did it. It's so easy for you to be compassionate and empathic that your friendships bond tightly from the start. It will be nicer for you if it lasts over a period of time instead of becoming so intense early on that there's nowhere for things to grow. Establish boundaries, and remember to give yourself and others plenty of space.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: "Twilight" vampiress Ashley Greene is an ethereal Pisces with eyes to match the part. In addition to an acting career that's on the rise, Greene is the face of a cosmetics company and a spokesmodel for a clothing line. Three luminaries in Pisces indicate soulful talent, while two Capricorn planets bring seriously down-to-earth business sense to the mix.
