DEAR STACY: Every time I sit down to watch TV, there is Jennifer Lopez in yet another commercial. Any idea how much she's making from all that? — Kevin A., Chattanooga, Tenn.
DEAR KEVIN: Lopez reportedly makes $25 million a year, $20 million of which comes from "American Idol." You have to know a large chunk of the remaining $5 million is coming from advertising and endorsements. But companies feel she's worth seven-figure deals. When Lopez and ex-husband Marc Anthony contracted with Kohl's for their lifestyle collection, the store expected them to drive sales of an astounding $3 billion.
DEAR STACY: I'm an admirer of Linda Cardellini of "Freaks and Geeks" and "ER" fame. Can you tell me what she's been up to lately? — Russ S., Warren, Ohio
DEAR RUSS: Cardellini is busy with motherhood these days. She gave birth to daughter Lilah-Rose on Feb. 29. Lilah-Rose is the first child for the actress and her boyfriend, Steven Rodriguez. Work-wise, she recently did a guest star stint on "Person of Interest" and voiced a character in the video game Lollipop Chainsaw, due out this year.
DEAR STACY: What is the old movie that starred Jan-Michael Vincent, where he falls in love with the school tramp? I'd really like to see it again. — Charlotte D., Jamestown, N.Y.
DEAR CHARLOTTE: That's the 1974 film "Buster and Billie," with Vincent and Joan Goodfellow. The movie, which has retained a devoted following, can be found on the Internet.
DEAR STACY: Some friends were talking about Nicollette Sheridan, and I said she was related to the late "Kojak" star Telly Savalas. They thought I was imagining things. Can you help? Also, wasn't he related to Jennifer Aniston somehow? — J.J., Fairmont, Minn.
DEAR J.J.: Savalas, who died of prostate cancer in 1994, had a son, Nick, with Nicollette's mother, Sally Sheridan. Therefore, Savalas' son is Nicollette's half-brother. The "Kojak" star was also the godfather of Jennifer Aniston.
