Jillian Michaels Lets Feelings on New 'Biggest Loser' Be Known/Sherry Stringfield Awaits Word on Pilot, and Place

Even as viewers and media pundits were debating the relative merits of Jillian Michaels' and Danica Patrick's racy godaddy.com spots on yesterday's Super Bowl, the fabulous fitness fox was letting it be known she's not happy about this season's "Biggest Loser."

Answering a fan's question regarding what appears to be friction between herself and boxer Cara Castronuova, one of the new trainers (along with Brett Hoebel) on the long-running NBC hit, Michaels tweeted: "totally fake drama. All manufactured. Makes me so sad that BL is like this now."

All righty, then. So, we take it she's not looking back with regret. As followers of the show know, in December, the one-woman media mogul announced her intention to leave "Biggest Loser" once the current season is a wrap, intending to adopt a child from Africa and focus on motherhood. Her decision was known by the producers, NBC and others months earlier.

It's too soon to tell whether audiences will cotton to Castronuova and/or Hoebel, but the show still has beloved trainer Bob Harper aboard for next season — and, not unlike "American Idol," there is the fact that a huge percentage of the show's success rests on what contestants bring to the party. Auditions for Season 12's "Biggest Loser" contestants begin Feb. 19 in Boston and Chicago, rolling across the country over the next several weeks.

HERE AND THERE: Former "ER" star Sherry Stringfield is awaiting word on the future of the Lifetime pilot that would bring her back to series TV, playing a San Diego cop who is also the soon-to-divorce mother of two children.

"Criminal Behavior," from "Bones" producer Josh Berman, also boasts a cast including Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Lou Diamond Phillips.

Stringfield tells us the pilot lensed in Atlanta and San Diego, and "I think they would be out of their minds not to shoot in Southern California. That, to me, would be a really bad, bad, bad decision. Southern California is unmistakable."

But it's cheaper to shoot in other places, including Atlanta.

"Well, it's cheaper not to dry clean my clothes. Let's not do that, then," she retorts.

Touche. Wherever they shoot, it will be fun to have the smart actress back on the tube on a regular basis.

FAMILY AFFAIRS: Casting is under way for "Other People's Kids," an ABC pilot about a single mom with two difficult children who have trouble adjusting once they become part of a blended family. It's definitely not "The Brady Bunch."

Also on the table at ABC is a half-hour show about half-sisters — not yet cast — who are also crack police detective partners. It seems the elder sibling is the one overseeing the hotheaded younger one, but — aha! — big sis has a secret. It's called "Partners."

PUTTING IT IN WRITING: Sexy crooner Matt Goss tells us, "I want to get a tattoo on my arm that says 'Civility Costs Nothing.' Kindness, to me, is something we need to insist upon no matter what. My world is rock 'n' roll, and it's great to have a lot of fun, but still, you've got to insist on kindness." Gossy says he learned that even tough guys can be of the kindest sort from the example of his own granddad. "That generation, to me, are walking treasures. They worked hard and made it through so much. He was a gunner in the Second World War and then later became a faith healer."
