Jane Seymour Looking Forward To Being Rock Star MomJane Seymour is already known as an actress, artist, jewelry designer, author and producer. Now she's adding another title to her list. "I've come up with a name for it: 'moadie.' That's a mother roadie," explains Jane, whose 14-year-old son Johnny has been garnering great interest in the music industry this year. "I think I'm going to be around a very successful rock band. I think that's one of the things that will be happening in 2011," adds Seymour, who caused a media stir in October when she told the women of "The View" that she believes Johnny's channeling the spirit of his namesake, old family friend Johnny Cash — who's also looking out for the budding singer-songwriter from beyond the veil. Young Johnny and his PT5 band have been performing gigs around the L.A. area to great response. They're also recording, of course. And, "They're unbelievable," to hear Seymour tell it. But she urges interested readers to find out for themselves: "There's a website where you can listen to five songs of his that are recorded; it's called PT5music.com. Honestly, James and I are, at the moment, completely in shock about how extraordinarily talented they are," she notes, referring to husband James Keach. Johnny's twin, who is named after her late close friend and leading man Christopher Reeve, also has musical talent, Seymour says. However, his bailiwick is "sports. He's a phenomenal athlete — baseball, football, basketball — he's just amazing. Each boy is very separate. They're different kinds of characters, but they're very supportive of each other." Seymour and Keach have four older children between them as well. And she makes it clear she's extremely proud of them all. Daughter Katie Flynn co-stars with her in the Jan. 8-airing Hallmark Channel movie, "Perfectly Prudence" — which reunites Seymour and her "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" leading man, Joe Lando. Keach also has a role in the romantic comedy. "You know, Katie is a terrific actor," boasts her proud mom.
THE VIDEOLAND VIEW: With the CW's "Life Unexpected" now officially on its way out, star Britt Robertson knows she's going to miss her cast mates Shiri Appleby, Krisoffer Polaha and Kerr Smith very badly. Robertson even lived with series mom Appleby during production of the show's first season, and they became very close. And even when they moved into separate digs, "We'd all get together all the time" she says. "We're like a big, huge family for each other." The actress admits that her character, former foster child Lux, became "more and more difficult to play" the more complex her life became and the more her background was revealed. But she liked it that way. "When you're an actor, you want to constantly be challenged, so I feel like the luckiest girl in the world." THE INDUSTRY EYE: Actors to fill the roles of literary luminaries from a bygone time, including John Dos Passos, are being sought to complete the cast of HBO's big "Hemingway & Gellhorn" movie starring Clive Owen and Nicole Kidman as Ernest Hemingway and his third wife, Martha Gellhorn. Executive producer James Gandolfini spent six years working to bring the story to screen. Like "Grey Gardens" before it, "Hemingway & Gellhorn" is finding life as an event cable production. Shooting is planned to get under way in February in San Francisco. And with pre-production roaring forward on Peter Berg's "Battleship" — starring Liam Neeson, Taylor Kitsch and Rihanna — forces on the film are casting a couple from Hong Kong, age 30-plus, who must speak Cantonese. "Battleship" is based on the popular board game and has to do with nations uniting to oppose an alien invasion.
