"90120" fans have been all abuzz about the possibility of Brian Austin Green appearing on the CW show now that Tori Spelling is back, but the actor tells us he's still trying to figure out the show.

"There's a part of me that feels sad about the fact that they have this new cast of characters and they seem to be relying so much on the old show. I don't completely understand it," he admits. "It's like, either decide to remake the old one and come to everybody and say, 'Do you want to get back together and make a new version of the old show?' or make a damn new show. Don't try and do both. It's just a strange thing to me."

When asked if he's changed his mind about returning, Green responds, "I don't know. I'm really torn. If they wrote a really cool reason to come back, I think it'd be fun. At the same time, I don't want to go on just to walk into the Peach Pit and be David Silver for no reason."

Green certainly has his plate full now that he's a series regular on Fox's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," which returns tonight (2/13). The show has been moved to Friday nights, which made him skeptical at first, but he tells us he's hopeful about the change. "Friday nights normally for television are the night where you lay something to rest. But I was talking to some friends up at Fox that I have back from my '90210' days, and they're really excited about it. I had forgotten that the 'X-Files' was a failing show until they moved it to Friday nights. Friday nights have proven time and time again to be a big sci-fi night," he notes, "so I'm excited about it, too, because as far as I'm concerned, it's the best job I could have outside of doing films."

MEANWHILE: Green says when he's not working, he and his foxy lady, Megan Fox, find themselves planning for their wedding. "We have no date, but we're always planning something. We just passed the four-year mark, and it's been great."

BETWEEN LOVERS: David Sutcliffe is well aware he's in a position many a man would envy, having gone from a "Private Practice" love affair with Kate Walsh, to romance with "Kissing Jessica Stein's" Jennifer Westfeldt on tomorrow's (2/14) Valentine's Day movie "Before You Say I Do" on the Hallmark Channel.

He's also the guy who can give us the lowdown on what it's like to work with each of these popular leading ladies. So, how about it, David?

"Kate's a little more free-wheeling, in a sense, where Jennifer has a very specific kind of style — though it's hard to pinpoint exactly what their differences are, because your style is always dictated to some extent by the material," he points out. "As someone who has written, edited and created her own films, Jennifer has a very strong vision. She knows exactly where everybody is in the story. She's a perfectionist.

"They're both really, really good and real professional — that's something I definitely get from each of them. You know you're working with someone who's got their chops."

"Before You Say I Do" has Sutcliffe as a guy whose beloved (Westfeldt) was so burned by her failed marriage, she has trouble trusting in her new relationship. He wishes he'd met her before she got married … and gets his wish. The former "Gilmore Girls" actor found that playing around with time travel, something normally confined to science fiction, made a whimsical twist in the romantic comedy. "It was kind of what attracted me to it," he says. "It's fun to play a sense of irony when you are armed with information in a world where everybody else is not. Knowing that in the future we will fall in love — it was a lot of fun to play that. The broadest comedy comes in my character going back to his ad agency, where he has all these great ideas he already knows are successful."

IS THAT A CHICKEN JOKE?: Seth Green, always the comedian, was the one cracking up when SideBAR owner Michael Sinensky surprised him with a cake in the shape of a "Robot Chicken" on his 35th birthday this week. Fortunately, it wasn't the cliched "rubber chicken" that we associate with comedies of years gone by! That wouldn't have gone down well — literally — with his New York City guests who were there to celebrate.

REAL BEHIND THE REAL: If "Real Housewives of New York City" personality Jill Zarin looked especially youthful and fresh at the NYC party honoring the show's second season launch this week, she has cosmetic surgeon Dr. Alan Freedman to thank. We get word that Jill make a quick appointment with the look-good doctor for a few little pricks of the most up-to-date skin fillers prior to the event — and walked out of his offices in Great Neck after about 10 minutes later looking radiant.
