DEAR STACY: What's up with "Psych"? When is Season 6 starting? — Ken B., Lancaster, Calif.

DEAR KEN: The reliably fun USA Network show returns Oct. 12, with Malcolm McDowell guesting as a British diplomat. Other guest talent to look forward to this season includes William Shatner as the father of Juliet (Maggie Lawson); Joey McIntyre as a cop; Jason Priestley and Jennifer Finnigan as a couple of con artists; Molly Ringwald as a mental hospital nurse (in a "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" takeoff); and Kristy Swanson in a vampire-themed installment. Also, watch for Danny Glover and Wade Boggs.

But, of course, it's James Roday and Dule Hill who make the series. As far as its future beyond this season? Roday tells me, "One of the many great things about this show is that we're sort of universally and collectively bonded in our thinking that we don't want this show to wear out its welcome. As long as we are either at or at a higher level than things we've been doing in the past, it makes sense to keep doing the show. As soon as we're not feeling that, you know, it's time to walk away."

DEAR STACY: Whatever happened to Mia Michaels' plans for a Bravo reality show that would go behind the scenes of a Broadway show? And what is she doing now? — "So You Think You Can Dance" Fan, Arlington, Va.

DEAR FAN: Michaels, who just won her third Outstanding Choreography Emmy for "SYTYCD," has been busy doing her judging thing up north, on the Canadian edition of the show.

The Bravo project, announced in March of 2010, seems to have stalled in development.

DEAR STACY: There is a movie, starring Jan-Michael Vincent, about a teenage boy who starts seeing this girl in school who has a slutty reputation. What's the title, who was the girl, and whatever became of her and Vincent? — Teri N., Cedar Rapids, Iowa

DEAR TERI: You're describing the 1974 cult favorite, "Buster and Billie," with Vincent and Joan Goodfellow. Vincent, who admitted to drug and alcohol problems while filming his "Airwolf" series in the 1980s — and apparently continued on that downward path — hasn't made a movie since "Menace" in 2002. He reportedly lives in Mississippi.

Goodfellow continued to work into the '80s, on shows like "Police Story" and "Quincy M.E." and the movie "A Flash of Green." Since then, she's starred in "Whatever happened to ...?" stories. She fell of the radar: no credits, no updates, no regional theater announcements ... nothing. There have been reports that she married and settled into a private life, but they're not substantiated.

DEAR STACY: Can you tell me whether long-time TV favorite Harry Morgan is still with us? If so, does he act any longer? — L.E., Baton Rouge, La.

DEAR L.E.: Yes, and no. At 96, the former "M.A.S.H." and "Dragnet" costar and veteran of 100 films is living quietly.

Dear Stacy,
After Julie London had the co-lead in "Emergency!," alongside Bobby Troup, her real-life husband, before her 2000 death, did she spent a lot of times, working with then-unfamiliar actors, Randolph Mantooth & Kevin Tighe [who were said to be best buddies], both on- and off-camera, for 8 seasons?
