Ask Stacy -- Week of November 5DEAR STACY: It was fun to see Masi Oka and Greg Grunberg of "Heroes" reunited on "Hawaii Five-0" the other night. Can you tell me what else each of these talented actors is up to lately? — Melissa F., Minneapolis DEAR MELISSA: Besides his role as coroner Max Bergman in "Five-0," Oka is in the indie film "Searching for Sonny," which has been playing the festival circuit. He also had a role in the recent "Friends with Benefits" feature comedy. Last month, Grunberg signed a talent-holding deal with Warner Bros. TV to star in either a comedy or drama series next year. It's anticipated that he'll reunite with super creative talent J.J. Abrams, for whom Grunberg worked on "Alias" and "Felicity." He also stays busy with his burgeoning Internet coupon company, Yowza!! DEAR STACY: Is it true that the "Cash Cab" was involved in a fatal accident with a pedestrian? I watch that show often, and I think Ben Bailey is funny. A friend at work told me this. — Julie G., South Gate, Calif. DEAR JULIE: There was such a fatal collision last July, but it did not involve Ben Bailey's New York cab.
DEAR STACY: Is Bethany Joy Galeotti, nee Lenz, related to actress Kay Lenz? They look quite a bit alike. I remember when Kay was quite the hot celebrity name, being married to David Cassidy. What is she up to? — Marla W., Austin, Texas DEAR MARLA: No, the 30-year-old "One Tree Hill" actress and musician is not related to the 58-year-old two-time Emmy winner. Kay still pops up fairly regularly in TV guest star roles, on shows including "Southland," "The Closer" and "Cold Case." DEAR STACY: I was shocked to hear that the actor who played Mark on "Roseanne" died of a heroin overdose. Is that true? — A Fan, Spokane, Wash. DEAR FAN: It is true, the Dublin-born Glenn Quinn died in December of 2002 at age 32 of an accidental overdose. He is also remembered for playing the half-demon, Doyle, on "Angel."
