DEAR STACY: Is it true that the girl who plays Sandra Bullock's daughter in "The Blind Side" is the daughter of Phil Collins in real life? Also, what is Phil Collins up to these days? — Pat M., Cedar Rapids, Iowa

DEAR PAT: Yes, Lily Collins is the pop star's 21-year-old daughter, and her career is moving right along. She's due to join "Twilight" heartthrob Taylor Lautner before the cameras this summer in John Singleton's "Abduction" movie, which has been described as like a "Bourne" film with teens. She's playing his girlfriend. Phil, meanwhile, has an album of covers of vintage Motown songs coming out in September.

DEAR STACY: Julia Stiles seems to have disappeared. Can you give an update? — Terry J., Brooklyn, N.Y.

DEAR TERRY: She drew not-so-great reviews for her most recent film, the limited release "Cry of the Owl," which is due out next week (6/8) on DVD. She's been attached to a possible film adaptation of Sylvia Plath's "The Bell Jar" for a couple of years, but it doesn't appear to be moving forward any time soon. The "10 Things I Hate About You" and "Bourne" films actress could definitely use a winner.

DEAR STACY: I find "The Marriage Ref" to be a real crack-up. Is it going to be back next season? — Rose M., Hawthorne, Calif.

DEAR ROSE: Yes, NBC renewed all three of its latest reality shows — "Marriage Ref," "Minute to Win It" and "Who Do You Think You Are" for fall.

DEAR STACY: Is it possible to get the movie "The Great John L.," made in 1945 with Linda Darnell? I've been looking for it with no luck. — Kenny V., Pensacola, Fla.

DEAR KENNY: The film has never been released for home viewing. I found a clip from it, however, on YouTube, as well as a short documentary on renowned bare-knuckle boxer John L. Sullivan.

DEAR STACY: Whatever became of Carrie Snodgress, who was so good in "Diary of a Mad Housewife" back in the '60s? Haven't seen her in years. — R.S., Tarzana, Calif.

DEAR R.S.: Snodgress succumbed to heart failure while hospitalized awaiting a liver transplant at age 57 in 2004. The actress, who earned a 1970 Oscar nomination for her work in "Diary of a Mad Housewife," left the business for most of the '70s to live with rock star Neil Young and care for their son, Zeke, who was born with cerebral palsy. She returned to the business, however, and more recent credits include the acclaimed cable drama about the women's suffrage movement, "Iron Jawed Angels." Her son was at her side when she died.
