DEAR STACY: I was a big fan of the show "Boy Meets World" and I'd like to know what happened to Rider Strong. — Haley M., Kenosha, Wis.

DEAR HALEY: Strong, who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia University in 2004, and completed his MFA at Bennington College in 2009, continues to act. Recent years have seen him guesting on "Castle" and "Bones," and starring in the feature films "The Darkening Sky" and "Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever." But he's been quoted saying that he has other goals nowadays, particularly as a writer-filmmaker. He and his brother, Shiloh, wrote and directed the short film "Irish Twins," which premiered at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival and won acclaim.

DEAR STACY: Is that Christine Lahti's voice in the Kaiser Permanente ads? — H.R., Albuquerque, N.M.

DEAR H.R.: No.

That's Allison Janney's voiceover.

DEAR STACY: Why did Clifton Gonzalez-Gonzalez change his name to Clifton Collins Jr.? — Teri R., Santa Ana, Calif.

DEAR TERI: Collins used to use his maternal grandfather's surname to honor him. "He's a genius comedian who's been in dozens of movies," he proudly said of Pedro Gonzalez-Gonzalez, who appeared in several John Wayne movies, prior to the elder actor's passing in 2006. However, Collins began using his late father's surname years ago for reasons having to do with overcoming his bitterness over his father's suicide.

DEAR STACY: Is Bill Cullen still alive? — George P., Spokane, Wash.

DEAR GEORGE: The popular game-show host died of cancer back in 1990.

He'd be 91 if alive today.
