DEAR STACY: On "The Biggest Loser," there are sometimes contestants who were smokers, but they never show how they quit the cigarettes. Any tips? — Luke O., Yonkers, N.Y.

DEAR LUKE: They go cold turkey, and that's that. "We don't focus on it because we have zero tolerance for it," says trainer Bob Harper. "When you come into our world, you don't bring cigarettes, period. Absolutely, these contestants are going through their nicotine withdrawals, and then they get over it. Smoking is absolutely forbidden."

DEAR STACY: Whatever became of Timothy Busfield of "thirtysomething" and "The West Wing"? What is he up to? — Janet K., Gardena, Calif.

DEAR JANET: Busfield had a very tough year last year, with an expensive divorce that led to headlines about his defaulting on his mortgage and facing possible foreclosure on his Malibu home (the matter is still pending as this is being written). However, things appear to be looking up for Busfield. This month, he's busy directing Carrie-Anne Moss in a pilot for Lifetime, in which she plays a woman who takes on the position of chief of staff in the psychiatry department of a university hospital in Philadelphia, alongside her sister and a diverse staff.

He also has a project in the works with Jeff Daniels.

DEAR STACY: When will the Star Tours attraction reopen at Disneyland? — Charlie N., Bakersfield, Calif.

DEAR CHARLIE: The souped-up, high-def, 54-"experience" version of the popular attraction — Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, which is also on its way to Disney Hollywood Studios theme park in Orlando — is targeted for unveiling May 20. However, trade publications have reported that project delays could cause a change of date. The new ride has a timeline that takes place between the events of the movies "Revenge of the Sith" and "A New Hope."

DEAR STACY: Is the singer Johnny Nash ("I Can See Clearly Now") still among us? Any update? — B.B., Clearwater, Fla.

DEAR B.B.: Nash, 70, has mostly kept a lower profile in recent years. He last surfaced in May 2006, when he was working at Sugar Hill Recording Studios in his native Houston, transferring analog tapes of his music to digital format.
