DEAR STACY: We became fans of the amazing Prince Poppycock on "America's Got Talent." Would like to know what he's doing. — Alicia M., Albuquerque, N.M.

DEAR ALICIA: Prince Poppycock, whose real name is John Quale, completed the "America's Got Talent" cross-country concert tour early last month and went on to an appearance as a sort of emcee of the unveiling of Bergdorf Goodman's holiday windows in New York. He has a couple of interesting irons in the fire — a reality show and a possible Las Vegas residency at one of the hotels. He'd also like to record, but so far hasn't found a label ready to invest in him.

DEAR STACY: What can you tell me about chef Michael Symon of the Food Network? He seems like such a personable sort. Is he married? Children? Age? — M.H., Long Beach, Calif.

DEAR M.H.: Cleveland native Symon, 40, is indeed married — no children — to wife of 11 years Liz Symon (nee Shanahan). She is also his business partner in their Cleveland restaurants — Lola, Lolita and B Spot — and other restaurants as well. A serious wrestler in school, he was sidelined after breaking his arm, then returning to the mat too fast and breaking it a second time.

After that, Symon, who is of Greek, Italian and Eastern European heritage, discovered his calling: food. In 1990, he graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York, where he was voted most likely to succeed in his class. He worked in several restaurants before he and Liz opened Lola in 1997. He's been putting in 90-hour weeks for years. Seen on "Iron Chef," "The Next Iron Chef," "Cook Like an Iron Chef" and his own "Food Feuds" this year, he obviously has lots of energy.

DEAR STACY: I thought Nancy O'Dell was taking over for Mary Hart on "Entertainment Tonight." When is that supposed to happen? — Nancy B., Canton, Ohio

DEAR NANCY: Beginning in January, O'Dell will be joining "ET" as a special correspondent. At season's end come spring, she'll take over as co-anchor when Hart leaves.

DEAR STACY: What became of Brad Renfro? — Michelle S., Springfield, Mass.

DEAR MICHELLE: The "Apt Pupil" and "The Client" actor died in January 2008 of a drug overdose. He was 25.
