DEAR STACY: Eion Bailey, the actor who plays August/Pinocchio on "Once Upon a Time," is hot! He's also very familiar looking. Can you give some background on him, including where we have seen him before? — Monica R., Warren, Ohio
DEAR MONICA: The handsome 35-year-old actor also has a recurring role on USA's "Covert Affairs" as rogue CIA agent Ben Mercer. Maybe that's where you saw him. Or perhaps in the acclaimed mini-series "Band of Brothers," as Pvt. David Webster. Maybe it was his Daytime Emmy-winning performance in the movie "Life of the Party" — or in one of his film roles, including "Fight Club" and "Mindhunters." Or perhaps you caught one of his many episodic series guest appearances ("Dawson's Creek," "Without a Trace," "Cold Case," CSI: NY" and "30 Rock" to name a few). Bailey hails from one of California's beauty spots, the Santa Ynez Valley, where his father owned a small airplane service that shuttled people around the state. He reportedly started learning to fly when he was a mere lad of 12. He began acting in high school and went on to study at New York's American Academy of Dramatic Arts. The 6-foot, never-married actor is an inveterate world traveler who has been quoted saying that he will "take girlfriends to places they've never been before." He's reportedly been developing a reality show centered on philanthropic projects in impoverished parts of the world.
DEAR STACY: Whatever became of Dan Rowan of "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In"? He seemed to disappear. Is he still alive? What about Martin? — L.E., Covington, Ga.
DEAR L.E.: After "Laugh-In" left the air, Rowan left show business and went off to live in the Netherlands on a luxurious barge. He died of lymphatic cancer at age 65 in 1987. Comedy partner Dick Martin became a director. He passed away four years ago due to respiratory problems.
DEAR STACY: I heard that "The Biggest Loser" trainer Bob Harper and former "Biggest Loser" trainer Jillian Michaels are both gay. Can you tell me if that is true? — Jas, Sparks, Nev.
DEAR JAS: Health and fitness star Jillian has stated publicly several times that she's dated both women and men. Super trainer Bob Harper doesn't talk about his sexuality. He is seen as Bootcamp Bob in a very cute old fitness video called "Queer Abs," but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.
DEAR STACY: Who sang the song "Devil Calling Me Back Home"? I heard it in the movie "Shout" with John Travolta. — Connie D., Whitefish Bay, Wis.
DEAR CONNIE: It's officially called "Devil Call Me Back Home," and it was sung by a man named Otis Rush.
