DEAR STACY: Please give some information about Matt Bomer of "White Collar." Background, age, marital status? Love the show. — Ashleigh M., Clearwater, Fla.

DEAR ASHLEIGH: The handsome 32-year-old actor hails from Texas. His dad, John Bomer, used to play for the Dallas Cowboys. Matt grew up in a suburb of Houston, where he studied at the not-for-profit Alley Theatre company. Then he went on to Carnegie Mellon University, where he became pals with fellow students including Zachary Quinto. After graduation, it was on to New York, stage work and daytime TV ("All My Children," "Guiding Light"). His first primetime show was the supernatural-themed "Tru Calling." Other credits include the big-screen "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "Flightplan." Bomer has described himself as happy and fulfilled in his personal life. At least for now, he prefers to soft-pedal answering questions regarding Internet reports about his sexual orientation.

DEAR STACY: What are the actresses from "Girlfriends" up to these days? — T.M., Brooklyn, N.Y.

DEAR T.M.: Golden Brooks gave birth to her and boyfriend D.B. Woodside's daughter, Dakota, in September. She has two indie films in the pipeline: "Polish Bar," with Judd Hirsch, Richard Belzer and Meat Loaf; and "My Place in the Horror" with Woodside and Keith David. Tracee Ellis Ross had a run Off-Broadway in "Love, Loss and What I Wore" last month. She was in Lindsay Lohan's "Labor Pains" movie (intended for big-screen release, it debuted on ABC Family, then went out on Blu-ray and DVD) last year. Persia White has the big-screen drama "Spoken Word" due out this year. She's also busy as an animal activist and environmentalist. Jill Marie Jones is in Nancy Kissam's recently released "Drool" with Laura Harring, playing neighbors who develop a mutual attraction that turns their respective worlds upside-down. She's also in Jessica Simpson's "Major Movie Star" that went directly to video last year. And she has the comedy "Meeting Spencer" with Jeffrey Tambor on the way.

Keesha Sharp is in the upcoming TBS series spinoff of the big-screen "Are We There Yet?" with Terry Crews and Essence Atkins.

DEAR STACY: Who is the girl with the red hair in those Dish Network ads? She's cute (even though the ads look like a rip-off of the Progressive Insurance girl ads to me). — Vince G., Del Mar, Calif.

DEAR VINCE: That's pretty, Alaska-born Katie Wallack, who has done a lot of regional theater, both as an actress and as a director, as well as some indie film work.

DEAR STACY: Is Chace Crawford of "Gossip Girl" any relation to Johnny Crawford of "The Rifleman"? I see some resemblance between him and the young Johnny. — Melody C., North Bergen, N.J.

DEAR MELODY: No, they're not. In fact, Chace is the first in his Dallas-based family to act. "My mom is a fabulous artist. She taught me to paint when I was little. My dad's a doctor, and I think from him I got being good at science and math," he told me. "I have an analytical side to me that's very nerdy."

DEAR STACY: Can you shed some light on the next season of "True Blood" and when it's coming on? — Victoria T., Lynbrook, N.Y.

DEAR VICTORIA: HBO's addictive vampire drama is due back in summer, no exact date yet. Werewolves figure prominently. There'll be actors (especially Alexander Skarsgard) getting naked. And the show will feature new faces including Alfre Woodard guesting as the mother of gay short-order cook Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), Kevin Alejandro ("Ugly Betty") as his boyfriend, and Denis O'Hare ("Edge of Darkness") as the dreaded Vampire King of Mississippi.

DEAR STACY: I'd like to know whether SyFy is going to have "Warehouse 13" come back, and if so, when. — Stuart K., Alpharetta, Ga.

DEAR STUART: Yes, look for the quirky drama that has to do with stuff the government is keeping secret from us to return for its second season beginning July 13.

DEAR STACY: Whatever happened to Louie Anderson? Is he appearing anywhere? Also, Richard Dawson. Haven't seen him for a while. — Jenna A., Queens, NY

DEAR JENNA: Anderson performs 40 weeks per year at the Excalibur in Las Vegas, as well as other stand-up dates, including a recent gig at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, N.J. His fellow former "Family Feud" host Dawson, 77, is retired.
