ASK STACYDEAR STACY: Is Kelsey Grammer's new series coming back? It barely seemed to be on, and then it was gone. — Lucy A., Cedar Rapids, Iowa DEAR LUCY: Five of the 10 episodes that exist of Grammer's "Hank" sitcom remain unaired following its Nov. 11 cancellation and there is no telling if they'll ever see the tube. Grammer told Jay Leno that he not only went along with the cancellation, he found the show getting such bad audience reaction, "'I called the president of Warner Brothers ... and I said, 'Listen, when can we put a bullet in this thing?'" Next, he heads to Broadway to star in a revival of "La Cage Aux Folles" that opens in April. DEAR STACY: Why did the actress who played Judy on "Family Matters" leave the series, and what is she up to these days? — Melissa, Brooklyn, N.Y. DEAR MELISSA: The character of Judy was dropped — she went up to her room and never came down. Exec producer William Bickley said it was due to budget considerations. Jaimee Foxworth, who played her, has led a turbulent life marked by extreme financial problems, a couple of years of making porn films, and marijuana and alcohol abuse. She was on the show "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" in 2008. This past May, the 30-year-old actress and her longtime boyfriend, Michael Shaw, became parents of a son. DEAR STACY: I think it is Richard Thomas ("The Waltons") whose voice we hear on the Mercedes-Benz commercials. My husband disagrees with me. Tell him I am right. And also, is Richard Thomas doing any new shows/movies? — Paula F., Chattanooga, Tenn. DEAR PAULA: You are right; that's Thomas on the Mercedes spots. He also does voiceovers for Aleve. He's been busy starring alongside James Spader, David Alan Grier and Kerry Washington in David Mamet's "Race," in which he plays a white married billionaire accused of raping a black woman. The comedy (that's right) opened on Broadway last month. He was in last year's Ang Lee picture, "Taking Woodstock," as well as an episode of "Law & Order." DEAR STACY: What is the actress who played Mona on "Half & Half" up to these days? — L.B., Brooklyn, N.Y. DEAR L.B.: Rachel True is among the actors whose voices will be heard in the animated film "Noah's Ark: The New Beginning" — a retelling of the biblical tale from the animals' point of view — along with such names as Michael Keaton (Noah), Ben Kingsley (the narrator) and Elliot Gould (God).
DEAR STACY: I like the odd music in the Palm Pixi commercial. What is it and is it available to buy? — Rae B., Canton, Ohio DEAR RAE: That's "Sleepyhead" by the Cambridge, Mass.-based electro pop group Passion Pit. It contains samples of the song "Oro Mo Bhaidin" by Irish singer/harpist Mary O'Hara. Contained on Passion Pit's "Manners" album, it's available for downloading on iTunes. DEAR STACY: Quite a number of years ago, I saw a picture about the Black Hand called "Pay or Die" with Ernest Borgnine. It was probably one of the best pictures Borgnine ever made, besides "Marty." Can you tell me if it's available anyplace? — Mrs. F. A., Astoria, N.Y. DEAR MRS. F.A.: That 1960 movie is available lots of places, including the Warner Bros. Shop (www.wbshop.com) and Turner Classic Movies (www.turnerclassicmovies.com). DEAR STACY: Can you tell me about the girl who plays Meegan on "The League" on FX? Her name is Leslie Bibb and she is beautiful. — Harry D., Milford, Conn. DEAR HARRY: Bibb's entrance into the public arena came at age 16, via "The Oprah Winfrey Show." Her mother sent in her photos for a nationwide modeling search, and she wound up being selected the winner by judges Iman, John Casablancas, Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell. She modeled for the Elite agency both in the U.S. and Japan, her photos showing up in the pages of FHM and Maxim, among other places. After a semester at the University of Virginia, the Bismarck, N.D., native moved to New York to pursue her career. She studied acting. She landed roles in the movie "Private Parts" and the TV show "The Big Easy" — and gained popularity as Brooke McQueen in the WB's "Popular." Other credits include "Confessions of a Shopaholic," "Talladega Nights: The Legend of Ricky Bobby" and a recurring role on "Crossing Jordan." She is 35 and divorced.
