Ask Stacy, September 19DEAR STACY: I used to enjoy watching Michael Tucker and Jill Eikenberry on "L.A. Law," but haven't heard about them in years. Any update? — Sasha D., East Hampton, N.Y. DEAR SASHA: Michael Tucker has turned his talents to writing. His "Family Meals — Coming Together to Care for an Aging Parent" came out earlier this year. It's an autobiographical tome, taking the couple from their retirement dream home, a 350-year-old stone farmhouse in central Italy — back to New York where they care for Eikenberry's mother as she slips into dementia, and where their grown son and daughter move closer to lend support. His "Living in a Foreign Language: A Memoir of Food, Wine, and Love in Italy" was published in 2007 — the same year they acted in the role-reversal comedy "The Happiest Day of His Life," a short that's appeared on Logo, and produced the PBS documentary "Emile Norman — By His Own Design." DEAR STACY: I really like the show "True Blood," and I would like to know more about Stephen Moyer than that he is going to marry Anna Paquin. What's his background? — Erin C., Cedar Rapids, Iowa DEAR ERIN: The 39-year-old British actor hails from Essex, England, and is a graduate of the famed London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. After finishing school, he put in five years of theater, emoting in works from Shakespeare plays to Pete Townsend's rock opera "The Iron Man." He also has a long list of British TV credits. Moyer made his screen debut as "Prince Valiant" in the feature opposite Katherine Heigl, then co-starred in the attention-grabbing Geoffrey Rush period drama "Quills" along with Kate Winslet, Michael Caine and Joaquin Phoenix. His credits on these shores include the 2007 "The Starter Wife" miniseries. Moyer, who divides his time between homes in L.A. and London, has two children — 9-year-old son Billy and 7-year-old daughter Lilac — by past relationships. Moviegoers can look forward to seeing him in the forthcoming big-screen post-apocalyptic thriller "Priest." He plays a human in the tale involving a band of murderous vampires. Paul Bettany, Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q and Lily Collins round out the cast. DEAR STACY: On "Raiders of the Lost Ark" there is a second unit director in the credits named Michael Moore. Is that the Michael Moore who went on to make controversial movies? — Chris S., Canton, Ohio DEAR CHRIS: No, the second unit director to whom you refer is Michael D. DEAR STACY: I'm a big fan of Tracey Ullman's. Can you tell me if there is going to be another season of her "State of the Union" show and if so, when it's coming on? — Jack W., Brooklyn, N.Y. DEAR JACK: Yes, Ullman's in production on seven new episodes of her Showtime show, slated to air next year. DEAR STACY: Whatever happened to the cast of "Good Times"? — Kathy C., Flushing, N.Y. DEAR KATHY: Janet Jackson's and John Amos' careers, of course, speak for themselves. His most recent acting work includes the recent "Men In Trees" series and the forthcoming movie, "Lean Like a Cholo." He also continues his charitable work with his Halley's Comet Foundation, which offers children educational and mentorship opportunities through sailing. Esther Rolle passed away in 1998 at age 78 of diabetes complications. Ja'Net Dubois is heard as the voice of Mrs. Avery on "The PJs" animated series, and continues to work on episodic series ("Cold Case," "Crossing Jordan") and in films ("Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle"). Jimmie Walker is often out on the road doing stand-up comedy. Ralph Carter's credits include the 2006 "Good Times" reunion on the BET Awards, and a stage stint in 2005 in "Ain't Supposed to Die a Natural Death" for the Classical Theatre of Harlem company. Bern Nadette Stanis maintains her career as an actress in addition to public speaking engagements and writing (her books are "Situations 101: Relationships The Good, The Bad & The Ugly" and her poetry book, "For Men Only"). DEAR STACY: I noticed that a Mark Radcliffe is listed as one of the producers of the "Harry Potter" movies. Is that the father of Daniel Radcliffe? — John W., Chattanooga, Tenn. DEAR JOHN: No. The British star and the American producer are not related. DEAR STACY: Steve Railsback was exceptional in "Helter Skelter" and "The Stunt Man." What's become of him? — David D., Brooklyn, N.Y. DEAR DAVID: Railsback seems to work all the time, just not as visibly as in those past stellar vehicles. His recent credits include mostly independent features. He's in Ash Adams' forthcoming indie crime film "Once Fallen" with Ed Harris, Amy Madigan and Peter Weller. He's in the recent direct-to-video horror flick "Rest Stop: Don't Look Back." The Texas-born actor, who is married and the father of two, is also remembered for playing serial killer Ed Gein in 2000's "In the Light of the Moon," which he executive produced himself, and as the astronaut in Tobe Hooper's 1985 "Lifeforce."
