Ask StacyDEAR STACY: What has become of the TV show that was to star the daughter of late "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin? I thought it was supposed to be appearing soon. — Katie N., Cleveland DEAR KATIE: In October, the 26-part Discovery Kids network series, "Bindi, The Jungle Girl," was put on hold for a year by Irwin family manager and close friend John Stainton. It was originally planned for unveiling this month. Stainton said the delay was not in response to criticism that 8-year-old Bindi was being exploited — and the unusually poised little girl has made repeated public statements that she wants to carry on with her father's work. She's being seen onstage on a double bill with Aussie kid act The Wiggles in New York and Los Angeles as part of the annual G'Day USA: Australia Week 2007 — Jan. 11-20 — promoting tourism Down Under. DEAR STACY: I will be forever in your debt if you can answer this for me. There was a beautiful song sung at the end of the Nov. 5 "Cold Case" episode, "Time Won't Heal This Broken Hearted Me." Is that the correct title, and who sings it? — Shirley B., Copiaque, N.Y. DEAR SHIRLEY: "Broken Hearted Me" is sung by Anne Murray in the episode. It appears on her "The Best … So Far" album. DEAR STACY: Whatever happened to Anson Williams, who played Potsie on "Happy Days"? — Gene K., Canton, Ohio DEAR GENE: Williams, 57, turned from actor to director in the mid-1980s and has helmed numerous shows including "Charmed," "Lizzie McGuire," "7th Heaven" and "Baywatch." DEAR STACY: What is Ananda Lewis doing nowadays? — M.O., Bronx, N.Y. DEAR M.O.: The actress and former MTV and BET personality plays Jesus' sister in "Color of the Cross," filmmaker Jean-Claude LaMarre's independent feature that depicts Christ as black, and focuses on the final two days of his life. It began showing in individual theaters and churches in November. DEAR STACY: Has Daryl Hannah ever been married? She is so beautiful. — Ray B., Torrance, Calif. DEAR RAY: No, the 5'10" beauty of "Splash" and "Kill Bill" fame has never wed, though she has had high-profile romances with men including Val Kilmer, Jackson Browne and the late John F. Kennedy Jr. DEAR STACY: I'm watching the program "Mr. Ed" on TV Land. Can you please tell me whatever happened to Alan Young and Connie Hines, who played the Posts? Also, how long did that wonderful Mr. Ed live? — M.S., Bronx, N.Y. DEAR M.S.: Alan Young, 87, has continued doing voice work in recent years. He's voiced Scrooge McDuck in a long string of Disney cartoons, including 2004's "Twice Upon a Christmas," and provided the voices of other characters such as Haggis McHaggis on "Ren & Stimpy." Connie Hines, 76, retired from show business in the '60s. Bamboo Harvester, the golden palomino credited as playing Mr. Ed, reportedly lived until 1970, when, suffering with kidney problems and arthritis, he was quietly put to sleep at age 19. DEAR STACY: Can you tell me what Nancy Sinatra has been doing of late? — Sid B., Long Island, N.Y. DEAR SID: Nancy, who got her star on the Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame in May, recently posted photos of herself and daughter A.J. hanging with "The Sopranos" stars on set in October on her website. They were filming for an upcoming episode of the HBO series. It begins airing its last season in April. Nancy has also been recording with 83-year-old pianist Page Cavanaugh for a forthcoming album. Cavanaugh recorded with her father, Frank, back in the Forties. The 66-year-old singer supplied the tune "Another Gay Sunshine Day" for the big screen "Another Gay Movie" last year.
