DEAR STACY: As a fan of ethereal-voiced singer Enya, I'm curious to know when she might have another album coming out and if she has any other plans or activities? Also, has she ever married? — Nora B., Manhattan Beach, Calif.

DEAR NORA: She has another album, in the works, for release late in the year. Her long-time manager and collaborator, Nicky Ryan, told the Irish Independent in May that she is considering touring in support of it. He also said that she's working with musicians at the Abbey Road studio (site of The Beatles' recordings) with an eye toward accompanying herself with orchestral music on tour. Ryan told the paper that he hopes the Metropolitan Opera in NYC will be among her stops. Known for keeping her personal life out of the public eye, she has been linked with boyfriends, but remains unmarried at age 50, as far as anyone knows. She lives outside Dublin in Manderley Castle (she named it after the house in her favorite book/movie, "Rebecca").

DEAR STACY: I would like to know about the little boy who played Jack Nicholson's son in "The Shining." He seemed to disappear. — Tracey R., Sterling Heights, Mich.

DEAR TRACEY: Danny Lloyd made one other movie — the 1982 "Will: The Autobiography of G. Gordon Liddy," made for TV film, starring Robert Conrad — then left acting. He grew-up and became a science teacher in Illinois.

DEAR STACY: What's become of the very hot Willa Ford? She was Nick Carter's girlfriend and seemed to be all over the place a few years ago.

— Chris T., Austin, Texas

DEAR CHRIS: The 30-year-old pop singer, actress and reality TV personality — of "Dancing With the Stars" and Playboy-spread fame — is due to be seen on "Magic City," a Starz' drama series starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan. It is scheduled to premiere next year. Her latest movie was the thriller "Universal Squadrons," which never got a wide release. She also has an episode of "The Glades" coming up. You can be sure, she is working on her music as well.

DEAR STACY: What's up with a sequel to "Independence Day"? I heard that there wasn't going to be one, and then I heard there might be two. — Rob M., Clinton, Iowa

DEAR ROB: That is right. In 2004, producer Dean Devlin and director Roland Emmerich decided that the sequel story they'd written wasn't right. They concluded the idea was unworkable and returned the money 20th Century Fox had paid them to follow up their 1996 sci-fi smash about an alien invasion. That appeared to be the end of the story. Then in 2009, Emmerich was quoted saying he had an idea involving two more films for an "Independence Day" trilogy. This past June, he and Devlin made it official, saying they'd written treatments for the new movies and that they hoped Will Smith would return to star in them.
