DEAR STACY: As a big fan of Vincent D'Onofrio in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," I'd like to know what films or shows he's acting in nowadays. — Blake P., Warren, Ohio
DEAR BLAKE: D'Onofrio recently signed to join Sylvester Stallone's "The Tomb" action film — a prison flick with a cast that also includes Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jim Caviezel, Amy Ryan and 50 Cent. Last month, the "Full Metal Jacket" and "The Cell" star began production on "Mall," on which he's serving as executive producer as well as the star. It's a chiller about an ex-tuxedo shop employee who goes on a killing rampage. Formal wear can really get a guy ticked off.
DEAR STACY: I would like to know whatever happened to Jayne Kennedy. She was such a huge celebrity back in the 70s, with her football reporting, acting, etc. What has she been up to? — Alejandra R., Houston, Texas
DEAR ALEJANDRA: Now 60, the woman credited as the first African-American Playboy cover model, the first African-American Miss Ohio, and the first woman to join the staff of CBS Sports has been focusing on raising her three daughters — Savannah, Kopper and Zaire — with her husband, since 1985, Bill Overton. She has also struggled with weight problems, sometimes topping 200 pounds — a situation complicated by her long battle with endometriosis. She's been mostly out of the limelight in recent years, except as a spokeswoman for The Children's Miracle Network (she is a born-again Christian who's raised millions of dollars for hospitals). Last year, she told Electronic Urban Report that she has a few projects in the works to pursue after her youngest finishes high school next year — including a biopic of Jeanette Rankin, the first woman voted into the U.S. Congress.
DEAR STACY: Are Erika Christensen and Hayden Christensen siblings, or otherwise related? — G.R., Chattanooga, Tenn.
DEAR G.R.: No. Hayden hails from Vancouver and has two sisters, Kaylen and Hejsa. Seattle-born Erika, who was raised in L.A., has two brothers, Brandon and Dane.
DEAR STACY: Was there a TV version of "A Bridge to Terabithia" on the air before the movie with AnnaSophia Robb? — Jesse W., Torrance, Calif.
DEAR JESSE: You're thinking of the PBS TV movie adaptation of Katherine Paterson's beloved children's book, which was made in Canada in 1985 with Annette O'Toole as the music teacher and Julian Coutts and Julie Beaulieu as young friends Jesse and Leslie. It was released for home viewing years ago.
