I must be the luckiest person on earth. Every day, I get letters, notes, messages -- even packages in the mail. And most of them say the nicest things -- testimonials for how your lives are being impacted by what you learn right here in this column and also by following the principles of Debt-Proof Living.

So many send in their favorite time-saving and money-saving tips, thank you notes, prayer requests, funny stories and thoughtful questions. And you should see all the stuff I've received over the years. I have beautiful yarn spun from the fleece of black sheep (black sheep are brown, not black, by the way), which came after I wrote about my love for knitting. A lovely pair of antique scissors showed up when I told of losing mine and then finding them in a most unusual way.

I could go on and on, but I won't. I'll just tell you instead how much I love to hear from you. It would be very lonely without your enthusiastic feedback.

I used to respond to every letter and message, but that is simply not possible now because of the sheer volume. Every message is very important to me. And I'm sure I do not thank you often enough. So let me say it now, again: Thank you.

Thank you so much for the ways you respond to this column, the monthly newsletter (Debt-Proof Living), the Web site (DebtProofLiving.com) and this column, "Everyday Cheapskate." I feel that I've developed a familial bond with you over the years. I know that many of you feel the same way because you write and say it's like we've been friends forever.

Since 1992, I've traveled a lot, speaking at conferences, seminars, retreats, churches and other events. I've traveled with Aspiring Women and hosted Debt-Proof Living seminars. But not once have we had a "family reunion," where we could meet and celebrate this unusual bond we've developed. Lately, I've been dreaming that something like that could happen.

Right now, such a thing is nothing but a fantasy. I need to know whether you would be interested at all in participating in such an event. Would you attend? How far would you be willing to drive? Yes, I'm always loaded with questions. And if you have any answers, here's how you can respond:

We've been mulling this idea around at DPL Central for a while now, but it will be the number of positive responses that will determine whether we take it any further.
