The unique V shape of the Newman (D1689) uses the front entry area and various rooflines to draw the eye of the beholder. The large fireplace chimney in the rear also lends eye appeal to the faŤade of this 2,133-square-foot beauty. A large, three-…

  • Designer Homes, December 30
A large, rambling ranch-style describes the Seapine (501-10). It has a long wraparound porch accented by the windows. On the dormer level are arched windows that add a touch of elegance to the faŤade. The large, two-car garage has windows that face …

  • La Crosse (334-080)
Handsome architectural columns buttressing an expansive front porch, symmetrical lap siding exterior and a wood-shake roof combine to give a dignified charm to the 2,012-square-foot La Crosse (334-080). The entry, framed in glass, brings you inside …

  • Watson (406-07)
The Watson 406-07 is a duplex, but it is uniquely designed. It has colonial columns, with a porch on the second level. Once you have entered this colossal home, the true stateliness is apparent. The Watson has a communal gathering room of 1,810 …

Law (405-13)

Some pieces of land require a specially designed home. The Law (405-13) has been created to be accessed from the side of the property. Containing 2,350 square feet, this would be an ideal home for a corner lot.

In front, the Law has a ranch-style covered porch that runs the width of the home. The entry room has plenty of room for an armoire to hold jackets and overcoats. The door from this room leads directly into the living room.

The living room and dining areas are contained in one large room with a number of windows. A wall in the middle divides the living/dining rooms from the family room.

Off the dining area is the kitchen. The appliances are located around the wall, and there are a numerous windows to allow the sunlight to shine in. Off the kitchen is a walk-in pantry, along with the utility room. There is a half-bath in this area, containing a toilet and a sink. The utility has a full linen closet, hookups for a washer and dryer, a sink, and plenty of space for folding clothes. There is a door that opens into the garage from this room.

The left side of the home is dedicated to bedrooms. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are separated by a large bathroom featuring a tub, sink, and toilet.
Bedroom 2 has the potential to be a guest suite with a large, corner walk-in closet and its own private linen/storage closet. Outside the bathroom is a linen closet for bedroom 3, which has been designed larger than a traditional bedroom.

The master suite has large walk-in closet with easy access and excellent use of space. The bathroom has a storage/linen area, along with a sink, tub, and toilet. A vanity table has been included for the lady of the home.

Throughout the home there are plenty of windows that fill the home with sunlight. The rear of the home is U-shaped. The area between the two-car garage and the bedrooms would be ideal for a patio, flower garden, deck, or play area for the kids. It could be covered or left open. It has numerous possibilities.

The garage is large enough to provide the handyman with a shop area, the gardener with room for plants and tools, or storage for anyone who enjoys sports or crafts.
