Harper Lee's book has been recalibrated for the Trump era. Time magazine explains it's allegedly less about racism than about white liberals and black people assembled against a resentful Southern power structure.

Daniels imagines the tale differently. He told Time that Attorney General William Barr's press conference on the Mueller report is somehow "exactly" what the play is about now. "It's about, where's goodness and decency? The media habitually ignore Levin's books — no New York Times reviews, no TV interviews, nothing — and it must drive them insane that he still sells millions of copies. But this one's called "Unfreedom of the Press," and it's a direct shot at them, so some may find it impossible to resist a response. One has already responded and in so doing explains why Levin chose to unload on her profession.

Book critic Annalisa Quinn took to National Public Radio's website to give her studied review. She was not pleased. She wanted her readers to know that. "'Unfreedom Of The Press' Is Full Of Bombast And Bile" was her title. This is really something, coming from NPR, which has uncorked bombastic and bilious attacks on conservatives, including conservative talk radio, for years.
Updated: Wed May 22, 2019
2832cd3d3d14d1939d6ec0b59599c2d2 The Hollywood Left Hates Alabama for 05/17/2019 https://www.creators.com/read/brent-bozell/05/19/the-hollywood-left-hates-alabama Fri, 17 May 2019 00:00:00 -0700

Alabama Gov. The opening scene depicts the moment of conversion. Abby, who serves in a management capacity, is asked to assist with an ultrasound abortion of a 13-week-old baby.
