She's now taking her speech to far-left events, recently accepting the Ally Award from the LGBTQ political-correctness police at the Human Rights Campaign. Since so many Americans will never get to stand on an awards show stage and speak their mind about what's wrong with the world, we thought we'd present a speech responding to Streep and what she represents.

"It is such an opportunity to present our thoughts on behalf of the broad swath of America that didn't earn the right to offer grand orations about politics and world history on national television because we took acting classes at Vassar and Yale. It is refreshing to speak up for people who don't complain about growing up inside what Meryl Streep calls 'the straitjacket of conformist suburban life.'
Updated: Fri Feb 24, 2017
87d73c785000671e82dc6c4dcad0947f Planned Parenthood's Pandering Press for 02/22/2017 https://www.creators.com/read/brent-bozell/02/17/planned-parenthoods-pandering-press Wed, 22 Feb 2017 00:00:00 -0800

Every time you hear the network anchors and reporters act outraged about President Trump calling on "friendly" reporters and the fact that there's something desperately wrong about trying to avoid negative publicity and hostile questions, think of Planned Parenthood.

As with virtually anyone on the left, journalists treat Planned Parenthood as the most sacred of cows. In the last few weeks, from the women's marches through the March for Life and other protests of Planned Parenthood, none of the networks will investigate or even cover the activities of these merchants of death.
Updated: Wed Feb 22, 2017
87f7984d372dba4d3103c55ec486fe25 'Saturday Night Live' Smears Kellyanne for 02/17/2017 https://www.creators.com/read/brent-bozell/02/17/saturday-night-live-smears-kellyanne Fri, 17 Feb 2017 00:00:00 -0800

The New York Times was correct in 2011 when it proclaimed that "Saturday Night Live" has no equal "when it comes to stamping a politician in the public consciousness." But it is. Between the morning and evening shows, the networks gave it almost 22 minutes of airtime altogether. To illustrate how shocking that number is, consider that last year, ABC gave the march 35 seconds of coverage. NBC ignored it altogether. Ditto for CBS.

There are two obvious reasons for this change. First, unlike the Reagan administration or the two Bush administrations, the Trump administration made modern history by sending speakers — two top-shelf speakers — Vice President Pence and top White House advisor Kellyanne Conway. Both were eloquent additions who made it an obvious news event.
Updated: Wed Feb 01, 2017
3549ab8747f387c40363f20577b737d3 HBO's Supervillainous 'Young Pope' for 01/27/2017 https://www.creators.com/read/brent-bozell/01/17/hbos-supervillainous-young-pope Fri, 27 Jan 2017 00:00:00 -0800

In a conversation about homosexuality a few years ago, a Catholic priest made a powerful observation. What to do about those who condemn the sin but also demand that the sinner be loved? The atheist hates Christianity, and Christianity-haters have no problem purposely distorting the Church's teachings while slandering its leaders if it will advance their agenda.
Updated: Fri Jan 27, 2017
a056749f32501d21492f749ecb188db8 The Ongoing Gosnell Blackout for 01/25/2017 https://www.creators.com/read/brent-bozell/01/17/the-ongoing-gosnell-blackout Wed, 25 Jan 2017 00:00:00 -0800

Six years ago, a deeply disturbing story emerged from a poor neighorhood in Philadelphia. She could be eligible for parole in five years.

Prosecutors alleged Vera groomed the child and his family, moving the teen and his father into her home and pretending she was dating the father. If the scourge of the new year is "fake news," should we not concede that it's not news to speculate about what will happen after a news event? The problem is, without speculation about the future — whether immediate or distant — cable news channels and radio news outlets would surely enter a crisis about how to fill 24 hours a day, and newspapers would struggle to fill their pages.

Time magazine offered a double issue called "The Year Ahead." Obviously, it cannot be defined as news. Nothing has happened yet. The final page of content in the edition is "The 2017 Quiz on News-to-Be."
