Chris Barnett is a San Francisco-based journalist specializing in travel strategies that save business and pleasure travelers' time, money and anxiety. The Los Angeles native has been a Copley News Service business travel columnist since 1986. He also currently writes for Frequent Flyer, Continental Airlines inflight magazine, and for Investors Business Daily, which carries his Copley-syndicated Barnett on Business Travel. Over the years, he has written on travel for eight airline inflight magazines, the Los Angeles Times and San Francisco Chronicle business sections, among others.
