Worlds Apart Morally

When the sirens wail in the southern Israeli town of Sderot, residents have just 16 seconds to reach shelter before the rockets fall. In the last month, the sirens have been sounding almost continuously as Sderot and (in the last several weeks) nearby Ashkelon, a city of 117,000 that traces its history back to the Canaanites, have been targeted by 50 rockets a day. The elderly, who cannot sprint to bomb shelters, simply ignore the sirens. They have little choice. But they, like all of Sderot' ...

It's not just "Palestinian propaganda." What about the "Iraeli propaganda" issued by the far right and the Evangelical churches, touting the so-called Christian duty to help our Jewish brethren. "Uprooting 10,000 Jewish settlers." I think the hundreds of thousands displaced Palestinians might not be so sympathetic on that end. Both sides are wrong in certain areas. Both are defending what they consider to be their homeland. Suicide bombings should never be considered to be a good or moral thing to do. However, the Israelis have transformed from the oppressed to the oppressers. The Israelis Zionists are not as morally upright as you would have your readers believe.

I hope you do not call yourself a journalist. Your writings from Obama to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict are always one sided and skewed. Most of your comments have no factual basis to them. It is amazing that you are published nationally. Every time I read one of your article s I am grossly disturbed at the inaccuracies in our 'fact finding'. I think your should be writing blogs or maybe published in the Inquirer next to "Bigfoot fathers Britneys baby". That's how credible I find your tales.
