TARP money, like the other trillions of dollars, is probably in Politicans, AIG, & others (taking money that doesn't belong to them) foreign bank accounts waiting for the 'once ignorant Taxpayers, to push forward and make sure they are indicted and sent to Gitmo or a foreign country they sold America out to!
As Politicians continue towards the bankrupting of America, traveling all over the world, like royalty, throwing money away on social, welfare programs, public schools, while they're calling it ‘Americas' future!' These programs have never worked! Never have! Never will! From 1960, let's fast forward to 2009, doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the politicians aren't working for the Taxpayers and future of America, only for themselves!
In the business world, daily layoffs happens, companies are closing; therefore, isn't it time for layoffs, cutting salaries and retirements in political world?
What an insult to the business world, working and struggling to make ends meet, while politicians continue traveling around the country! Trillions of Taxpayer dollars could be saved by not having to pay for the buildings you're now occupying!
Politicians still think if they throw enough money down the drain, on schools, social and welfare programs for America and foreign countries, they'll build character, morals, integrity, and respect'! ‘Ain't gonna happen!'
It's time for ‘Fair Tax', to include property taxes, change ‘Voting Laws', cut salaries, retirements, and stop the 'tax and spenders'!

Ms. Charen: Speaking as a fastidious (some would say "anal-retentive") user of English myself, I'm pleased that your young sons care about the proper use of the language. Allow me to note that the meaning of a phrase like "beg the question" isn't a matter of grammar; it's a matter of usage. "Grammar" means parts of speech (nouns, verbs, adjectives and so on) and sentence structure -- how words are put together to form sentences. The colloquial use of "grammar" as a generic synonym for "correct English" is, in fact, incorrect!

And to Shirley deLong: Do you have any idea of what "on topic" means?
